I know we've had a few of these threads in the past, but today I got my very first tattoo, and I'm super proud of it, so I just wanted to show off share with people!

There's supposed to be green ink outlining it, but my webcam doesn't show the colour too well.

You would hate it too if you were forced to give up two years of your life to something you hate in the first place T_T

Then watch people die. That cements the entire thing. People caution against getting tattoos because opinions might change and you end up regretting getting them, but doomsday will come before I change my mind about hating this. >.>

The tattoo doesn't have any real meaning, it's up to people to find any meaning to it. The reason why I didn't wanted it to have any meaning is because I got it when I was 18, I knew I was young and there's going to be plenty of time in my life to tattoo myself something with a true meaning, so why not having something that doesn't really have any. I know a lot of people who got tattoos with a meaning that regret it fairly quickly.

A year and an half later, I'm still really happy with it.

Here is my kick ass Mario & Luigi tat, these were taken just a few minutes after it was done. It needs a touch up now, but lucky for me, my artist gives me insane discounts. I grew up with SMB & I wanted a tribute to it & I think the art is a unique twist on the plumbers, I've had people tell me that they look very evil.

My first tattoo was a black & blue nautical star on my leg & I had always thought about getting a tattoo so I said what the hell one day & got it done. I figured I would go with something simple for my first, that way if I ended up not liking it in the long run I didn't end up stuck with some massive scene on my body somewhere.

How much did it cost?

The fixed price was 360$ (Canadian dollar), but I gave another 60$ for the tip so 420$. It could have cost much more if I did two session for the tattoo, when she offered me to do it in one sitting I decided to do that. It took 4h30 of tattooing, which wasn't pleasant at the end. How much yours cost ?

...Good lord, I feel like a cheapskate now. :/ mine was only £20 (GBP).

Before people jump in saying that the cheaper ones are usually not that good at tattooing, I know. I just figured it wasn't that hard to fuck up 3 letters. =P

That's pretty much what I thought. "I'll get a tiny one as my first, and if I end up hating it/or it's too painful to sit through, I'll only have the one little mistake.

The Hellspawn sigil, to represent my love for comic books. Huge part of my childhood, and of course Spawn was just the kind of hyperviolent schlock that appealed to me as a teenager. The 90s really weren't all bad, you know... ;P

Got this one two years later, near my 20th birthday. I've always loved dragons for as long as I can remember, and call me a douchebag dudebro all you like, I think tribals look cool. So, this tattoo is pretty much the best of both worlds if you ask me. ^^

Never played Warhammer, but I have a few friends into it. I already said 14 was my lucky number (And I'm very superstitious) The green is just 'cause I thought it'd look best.

And screw the haters, I think tribal tattoo's look awesome as well!
