Escapists: What's your opinion on Fox News and why?

I've noticed a lot of hate on this site for Fox News. With reason! But I was wondering what exactly is your opinion on them?
Do you think they're a stupid network who get mixed up and over react by accident, or do they over-sensationalize deliberately?
And when/what exactly made you form this opinion?

They've always been right wing nutjobs and the people deliberately tell half truths to support whatever side they want.The last staw for me though was the infamous Mass Effect debate. Yech! No research whatsoever

I like them as they are funny with how inaccurate they can be at times.
I also love peoples reactions to when they report something that is completely untrue, hate the owner though.

I have no feelings for Fox News one way or the other. Yeah, they're biased and report on stupid irrelevant shit instead of what's important. Yeah, they're reporting twists the facts and occasionally reports outright lies. The problem is that I just described basically every news source available, including most on the internet. Just sift through the BS and use your own judgement and you'll find the important stuff.

Their interviews are chock full of obvious strawmen, they don't ever do fact checks, and their stories are more than just biases, they're blatant lies. That's all there really is to say on the matter.

I look at it this way

They are biased. That's not something I like, but then I look at other news sources. They are just as biased. And I'd rather the biases I agree with then the ones I don't. I'm not going to tune into a netword that implise I'm stupid because of my views. I don't blame people on the other side for doing the same.

I lost respect for Bill O'Reilly after I realized how he debates, however. Use less straw.

EDIT: Red Eye is a great show though.

That'll give you a pretty good reason why pretty much everyone here hates them. Or you could actually watch the Damn channel, and, you know, make up your own opinion on it.

Of course the ME situation, along with how they criticize everything without doing research, they give half the story on everything, and they don't really give actual news.
