Bloody hell, this game series again - I thought I had mentally scrubbed it out of my mind after reading about it on i-mockery.

Yeah, this game is pretty gay but it would also make a great joke gift to get for someone on at Christmas or on their Bday that isn't into man-muscles, speedo's and the all important man-juice.

I did a blog which included this and muscle march. I also included a youtube video called Ultimate Muscle Roller Legend to the list, which while I don't think it's Japanese, it's certainly in the same vein and flavour in terms of gayness stroke hilarious weirdness (3rd in the list)

Whoa, thanks Allan, I stand corrected. Very strange, but it totally explains the vast similarities. Guess I'll have to update that post. :S

On Topic: This is the first I've heard of this game, and if its really as raunchy as the article makes it seem then I have to wonder how it got away with a T. I always thought the ESRB set a pretty low bar for what could be called mature, especially with games like Halo getting the M rating when I didn't see anything that would faze a 13 year old (actually given the typical populace of an Xbox Live Halo match I'm pretty sure most 13 year olds aren't fazed at all). Just makes me wonder how games with violence I would quantify as moderate at most get a higher rating than a game which seems to have more blatant eroticism than a local strip joint on a Tuesday night.
This. I actually view this as progress, especially the vulgarity. Especially considering that Rock Band mutes out the handful of curse words in the songs it offers, and still gets a T rating for "Suggestive Lyrics". I can't think of anything else in those games that would be offensive to a rational, sentient being who lives in society with the rest of us.
