Chinese (though I have no idea what it actually tastes like in China), as well as Sushi, Sashimi, Bratwurst and Sauerkraut (only when done well, though)

Mexican and Italian food really isn't foreign to me anymore, since I grew up on it. But I absolutely love Japanese food of any style. <3 Mm, sushi, yakiniku, ochazuke, ume, onigiri....
Cold Winter Night + Gyudon or Yakiniku = Heaven
There's also something to be said for buying ume onigiri and taking it out to eat in the park beside the Japanese cafe in Sakura Square here in Denver.

Wow, the closest thing I've got access to in Virginia Beach is a bunch of Japanese markets. It's great for buying ingredients and imported snacks, but there are no local restaurants that I know of that sell Onigiri. I've tried making it myself, but it never turns out quite right.

The main problem is that I visited Japan for a few weeks in the summer back in 2007. The trip was great, but now I know of about 30 foods that I got addicted to and can't get in the US.

Problem here is that when most people think foreign food, they think of the delicious takeaways situated in their own country which offer substandard alternatives to their own nation's genuine dishes. The Chinese are not big fans of Sweet and Sour. Indians do not think much of curries (being a British invention and all).

Most people dislike a lot of authentic Chinese food (dim sum seems exclusively made up of tripe, stomach lining, chicken feet, and boiled bread), so the Chinese have discovered what is popular over here, and sell that instead. When a chinese person goes into a take away, they are usually handed a seperate Chinese menu with dishes more familiar to their tastes (the food is often better on these).

Saying all that, I love my pseudo-mexican/indian/Italian/Chinese foods.

Wait? There are British foods?
Food is a misnomer in this case. I love it all the same: Fish n Chips, Black pudding, full English Breakfast, Lancashire Hotpot, Tikka Masala, ploughman's lunch. All awesome sauce.

That stuff is damn good. Chicken feet are good. And hook me up with some more Pho, a noodle soup with tripe, tendon, and other random chunks of animal thrown in.

I also like ... Well, pretty much anything. But I won't eat dog, cat, snake, or baby seals like Stephen Harper.

Spicy Cajun food or some delicious Mexican food if I can get it. I find myself avoiding Chinese most of the time though.

- Japanese
- Korean
- Chinese
- Irish
- Greek
- Italian
- English

I once saw a documentary on Chinese cooking cats and dogs. Although it was supposed to portray the treatment of this "pet" livestock in negative terms, stir-fry dog actually looks really delicious.

I love Japanese and Korean food; sushi is the greatest food of all time for me, with hot wings being a close second.

Gyros might be the best thing invented in the history of the universe.
So much truth is within this sentence.

Also in my area, Spanish and Cuban food are wildly popular.

Definitely American is my favourite, but I love Chinese and Italian food as well. Sudanese food is damn good too. Maltese pastizzis are my favourite specific ethnic dish though.

Shawarma (aka gyros) Is some of the tastiest foods EVER. Also spicy meat, regardless of where it's from is amazing.
