Hi all!

Other than The Apprentice starting up again, TV is a little lacking lately, so..
Eurovision 2011 tomorrow, yay! Time to get exceedingly drunk with friends and watch people desperate to land a record deal trying to sing for a while ;D

Any favourites this year? Personally i'm rooting for Italy, seems like a good song! (Shocking I know)

People actually enjoy that shit? Well to each is own I guess, but this is all just political sholck now and not about the music.

I don't think I've enjoyed Eurovision since T.A.T.U. competed for Russia.

Yes, people actually do enjoy it. I'm in the same boat as you as to not understanding why. There's more politicking in Eurovision than in the American presidential elections.

Man, if we could only come with a good Horatio line right now, then I could use the CSI instant rimshot.

Eurovision is worth watching if theres some bizarre act up. But voting is still a problem and the constant advertsing between acts. Besides some songs are good.

Slovenia should win but probably won't. It makes me sad but I don't care because I get to enjoy the great song either way. I'm talking about this by the way:

It's good, but not punny enough.

Well, despite some cultural/political voting, it's still a good show. It's not like the eastern bloc countries that always vote for eachother ever actually win. Look who's hosting, Germany!

I wouldn't say I enjoy it, but fun to watch the most ridiculous ones.

Incredible hilarious tbh :3

And almost never anything else to watch on TV here when it's Eurovision time =/

No idea...I'll check, but I don't think they lost that year.
They came in 6th actually. According to wikipedia.

I'm Irish. So all I'm gonna do is turn the TV off drink vodka alone in the dark and pretend my country isn't being humiliated. Still, at least we didn't send a fucking turkey this year.
