I've been playing EvE for 3.5 nearly 4 years now. In the beginning i was completely obsessed, waking up at 1am just to change my skill (before the days of the queue). I loved the fact that there was so much depth and i wouldn't understand everything about the game within a few hours.

For about the last year however i just cant bring my self to play any longer. I've tried most things; high sec, low sec, null, wormholes and even mining (dont tell anyone) but i'm just bored, which i never thought would happen. How can you get bored of EvE?

Still can't bring myself to quit though, it's like my crack :S

So my question to you, dear reader, is how do you keep it fresh? How do you still enjoy gate/station camping online?

I found that Eve Online would get boring from a lack of purpose. I was caught up in the big Russian Civil War going on since the start of the year. My alliance part of a series of operations helping our russians to come out on top. Now that we achieved what we wanted to and gained some good territory Im not really sure what I want to do. What am I supposed to be striving for. Im so far away from something like a capital ship so Im in that wierd loop where all I seem to have as a goal is make more ISK. Bit of an empty void for me.

I thought i'd found a decent corp/allliance at last, but like all corps i've been in the eventually disbanded and dissolved into NC. :/ so now again im just logging in to change skills and occasionally read the forums
