My favorite cards in Magic: The Gathering were recently added to the banned list. The one time where I was king at something nerdy, they take it away from me. But I still enjoy playing it

This has happened a lot to myself and my friends over the years.
Most notable was probably when one of my friends was banned from a Battlefield 2 server for "out hopping numerous grenades". Another got the message of being "a bit too magical with the head shots".
Yeah, it generally happens because you kill an admin, often with a god complex.

Well "banned" isn't really the right word. In the pre-internet world my friends and I were all big Street Fighter 2 fans. And none of my friends could beat me, at least not on a consistant basis, just an occasional loss here and there.

Finally after one marathon session where I won 50 matches in a row and only eventually lost because my hands were cramping up, they all stopped letting me play.

The same thing happened again a few years later with Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast. I was good with every character, but I was unstoppable with Cervantes. Again, eventually my friends got tired of losing and forbid me from playing unless I promised to not use Cervantes.

I've been kicked out of a lobby room in Combat Arms too many times to count. Accused of flying when I wasn't flying, accused of aimbotting after killing enemy players many times, accused of chamming when I found their favourite camping-spot and tactic and simply kicked out for capturing the flag.

The worst part is that you lose the EXP and GP[sub]currency[/sub] you could have gained if you get kicked out. And no I wasn't ruining someone's experience, they're immature kids/teens who get knee-jerk reactions to someone beating them and being better than them. Don't get me wrong, I love playing in servers which match my skill in other games. But in this particular Online FPS, you're either dying a lot or killing a lot. Part of the reason I left.

In TF2 for cheating, which was really weird because I SUCK at that game. I play on a track pad for Christ's sakes.

Gears of War (PC). All the time.

Boo-hoo, so I use the Lancer execution a lot. Stop fucking standing there.

Boo-hoo, so my favorite weapon is the Torque bow. Stop being a little *****.

Boo-hoo, so I know how to properly use the Sniper Rifle. Keep your damn head down.

I mainly play fighters online and those don't have ban but they do have something like it, in the form of room hosts kicking you out for being too good. The easy way to counter this is to make your own rooms, there's always 5 good people for the one sore loser or salty scrub so you won't end up just alone if you have your own room. I actually have done a 76-0 win streak on Blazblue in my room, while I never tend to go beyond 10 or so wins in other people's rooms before either the room disbanding or the host kicking me.

I've been booted from Bad Company 2 servers before for being accused of hacking when I was doing no such thing.

In Half Life Deathmatch, I topped the scoreboard, ahead of the 2nd place player by about 15 kills. I was kicked and then banned with this notice:

Yeah. I've been banned a few times from MW1 and WaW servers. Something about shooting people through walls that are at full sprint. Some people just don't understand what sound is =/

Being a decent tournament player in any fighting game room will get you kicked hard. They'll kick you whenever they're done straight losing to you and will provide you the most lame, and possibly trolling, reasons.

Best one I've received that I can remember: "You were spamming combos".

O-Oh...
O_O Dude I just got kicked from MvC3 for doing that, I didn't know that using the same 3 BnB 60% combos as wolverine and deadpool was a bannable offense... freaking MLG scrubs...

ANYWAYS! back to the poll
I've been banned from just about everything for being too good... the only things I HAVEN'T been banned in (that I own) is... League of Legends... and... umm... Dawn of War II, but I just got that so it's subject to change haha

however my LoL team is mad at me for my bizarre character choices and the fact that I don't use runes

Yes.
COD4
PunkBuster kicked me because it thought I was hacking...
I wasn't hacking...it just thought I was because I was doing so well it was considered inhuman(Godly).
25-0 kill streak in under 30 seconds. Nearly every shot was a head shot.(hit, not fired)
P90 was my weapon of choice, with which I unloaded a magazine and then swithed to the Desert Eagle.
It was glorious...that is until I was kicked...then it turned into a completely different glorious moment.

Yes, I was banned from playing Magic: the Gathering with my "friends" because I had made a couple of decks that were nigh unbeatable by anything they could come up with.

The funniest thing is that they're all dead now.
Didn't know it could be outside of videogames too... well then
Magic for having a "Win in one turn" deck and "old cards"
boffer wars (for hitting someone in the face for lighting up a joint in a public park)
uhh... the group of "friends" for being too different (didn't like Halo, 3rd wheel to everyone, etc. etc. etc.)
oh, from the computer lab for "hacking" (I didn't know that file transfers over LAN was considered hacking... then again the teacher was a mac user...)
and playing dodgeball in 7th grade (people described what I did as "cheating" others called it "matrix")
and lastly, I was banned from the music room in 1st grade... the teacher was sexist and hitting a note below the top 2 octives was a "sad note" and she wouldn't have that in her classroom (...she was jealous that she was a music teacher and I could play Mario 1-1 on piano and she couldn't... <_<)
