In all of my schools, we never had that kid who went around beating kids up for money, or because they were tougher. We just had the jocks and preps, who'd insult anyone they didn't deem cool. And whenever they did this to me, I'd always just insult them back. And whenever I saw them in the halls I'd call they worthless preps.

The people that DID beat up other people in my schools usually dropped out around grade 7 and 8 and became gang members or drug dealers. And those people were kinda my friends, until they went down the bad route.

I was bullied a little in primary school but generally ignored it. Then in secondary school some girls tried starting something until I reported them. I was the quiet innocent girl who never got in trouble so the teacher's believed me. A group of boys in year 10 tried bullying me when i was in year 8 because i had short hair and acted more boyish then girlish. I just looked at them and said 'Is this really all you have to do in your break? Pick on a girl 2 years below you for no reason? Get a life,' and walked off. They did try once more but I reported them too and they backed off.

I was bullied in school, 5-8th grade. One guy was thrown into thornbushes by my brothers after he didnt stopped, and the rest stopped after i slapped one of the bitchy girls who made fun of me all the time, with a book, a heavy hardcovered one.
We marked a line there that should never again be crossed and it was done.
Later i joined theatre classes, did a little sports, got very confidend and climbed my way up to the head of the social foodchain.

In like 8th grade there was this kid Ryan that did everything he could to try and give me hard time. One day we were in our lunch line and I just told him that if he ever made fun of me again I'd beat the shit out of him. He was a pansy and did not bother me since.

Later that summer he got on this kid Adam's nerves at his graduation party and the kid slammed his head into a rock. He got what was coming to him.

when i was 7 i tried to commit suicide for many reasons
i think it was at least partly down to my teacher bullying me relentlessly on a daily basis
im ashamed to say that that year i actually even bullied another kid, a girl actually

i also beat the crap out of some kid in the year above when he started on me

when i was 9 i was bullied again by another kid which was eventually solved by parents and teachers
but then, that same year i was also bullied by another teacher
it was good though cause it taught me to talk back to teachers, a gift that's been invaluable to me
though it meant another teacher bullied me for the 2 years after

i bullied another kid when i was 11 as well... but he was a complete douche who kept trying to pretend we were friends despite always being a ****

i never got on well with teachers
bullied again by another one when i was 13

when i write it down, i cant help feel as if it looks like i was just paranoid since it seems to happen to noone else, like im the common factor
but then i remember the emotions and the feelings and what they did and i cant pretend it wasnt bullying

bleak

Used to get bullied in high school due to my different appearance (long hair) by the same two assholes, one day I just snapped and lunged at him in a science lesson lifted him clean off his feet and just swept round and threw him across the room bursting his lip and nose.

The other guy was just as bad in a different lesson and the same happened the teacher left the room and he thought it'd be funny to start slapping him in the back of the head. So I turned round and just kicked the table (sparta style) he was at back and knocked the wind out of him by crushing him between the two xD

In 5th grade there were 2 assholes in my class that were supposed to be the "tough" guys. They picked on anybody they thought was weaker than they and due to the fact that there were 2 of them the head of the year would always believe them(It was a bad school). I rarely ever fought but one 10 minute break they got on my nerves. I lunged and grabbed the nearest member of the pack, got him up against the wall, lifted him and told him that if he'd ever harass me again I'd gouge his eyes out using a screwdriver. I managed to catch the other one on his way home. I gave him a good kicking. They never dared get near me again.

In 7th grade there was another asshole who kept spitting on me, make fun of me, hit me and generally harass me. I managed to catch him when he was going home and beat the living shit out of him. 2 months later he barely even dared to say hello in my presence.

There were cases where I'd be bullied and simply didn't fight back due to not being able to. I'm guessing that's what 'caused me to participate in bullying myself. I ended up fighting the guy the class was bullying. After about 2 minutes of exchanging punches and half a minute of attempting to strangle him after headlocking his head I looked around and saw only animals attempting to incite violence. I stopped, went outside of the class with him and apologized. We weren't exactly friends after but we never ended up as low as before.

High School wasn't exactly smooth sailing(there was the occasional asshole) but giving that I knew the majority of the tough guys in the high school I ended up at it was mostly OK.

So, share here your experiences with bullies and being bullied. What happened, how did you react and what did you do??
Every year that I was in school I was bullied. I am not going to write them down, last time I did I didn't went well after that.

Because of health issues, I've always been a bit of a target. however, I wasn't a doormat all the time. Most of the time I just walked away, but i did have to fight a couple of times (definitely not ladylike). Even when I did walk away though, my best friend D wouldn't. She beat the hell out of a number of people during our schooldays. Ironically, I was the one who beat the living s*** out of a guy she was dating who decided that she looked like a punching bag. Pick on me...ok. Pick on my friends and you may find yourself picking up teeth. *shrug*

I come from a small family and probably wont grow taller than 5.5 feet. im in the top year in my school and most of the new kids who are normally 4-5 years tounger than me are taller than me and never forget to remind me. But whenever they do i just kick them in the shins or get my really tall friends to walk into them and stand next to me menacingly

Despite some really childish teasing, I've never had an actual, physical bully. The closest I got was some fucktard who tried to trip me every five seconds, and make fun of my appearance. The great irony of that was that he was a complete bumpkin. He never washed, he smelled like cows, and he had what seemed to be a shit stain on his shirt. Keep in mind that I live in central New Jersey.

ooh, I have a tale to tell, told this one before but everyone here seems to like a good story. You know people always say dont hit girls? Well I kinda threw that out of the window XD.

It was a schoolday, half of my year (year 9) we're all out on a trip, and those that stayed behind either because they werent interested in said trip or behaviour reasons were having an activites week, we were all in a maths room doing fun maths <_<. Then this Chavette/Whore/Whatever begins harrassing meh for no reason at all. All manner of verbal insults were said, like fat, bastard, fucker, and many fun combos. Didnt bother me of course, I just smiled and agreed with her at every turn, which seemed to piss her off even more. Then things were thrown at me by her and her equally stupid friends, pencils bits of paper, I mockingly yawned at her, and carried on working. Then... she did something that signed her own death severely injured warrent. She prehaps had finally figured her crude insults didnt faze me, so she went for the person next to me... my little brother. She hit him once, in the face, I shot up from my seat and responded with force, hit her in the face a few times, blacked out, snapped out of it in a hallway walking out of the classroom. Turns out I'd bust her lip, and bloodied her nose, and all she'd done to me was scratch my face about 4 times, but she also somehow managed to hit the teacher and ended up blooding her nose... and my glasses werent on my face.

So there I was outside of the main building leaned against a wall regaining my composure, when a good friend pops his head round the corner, breathed a sigh of relief and asked how I was doing, and that the girl was in big trouble. He handed me my glasses and informed a teacher where I was. Went to the office and wrote a statement and was vrey honest about it, got a cup of tea and a bit of time to cool off, then they called my mother, who suprisingly didnt tell me off or punish me in anyway, she hada calls like this before, me beating up some too dumb to live turd for attacking my brother.

So in the end... The Girl got suspended for a very long time, I got to go home early for some chill out time.

There yer have it, one of my bullying stories.

Yea, I was bullied before. Middle school, high school, although I can't remember if anyone bullied me in elementary. Most of the time, it was just them pushing me around. I would go tell a teacher and it would make them stop. For all of one day, and then they'd start again. After a while, I kinda just gave up. I guess this showed them that I didn't give a shit, so they stopped. But to resort to fighting? I personally couldn't. Every time I thought of fighting one of them, of breaking their face with my fist, I wouldn't act on it because I always thought I'd lose. I kept thinking they'd all gang up on me and beat me up. It certainly did not help that pretty much all of them liked to bare-knuckle box. They definitely had a size advantage on me as well. But, sometimes I wonder how it would have been if I had actually fought back. Oh, well, it's in the past now.

I can't say that I have been bullied. I've been 6ft since the first grade! [sub]No just kidding[/sub]
But I have always been freakishly tall, obviously people don't get picked on for that, don't they?

Not in High School because it was such a small school that everyone new each other and generally got along, also i am good at sports which automatically gets you a +10 for popularity. But in primary school i was for a long time a little fat kid so i got picked on quite a bit. I beat those people up eventually and ended up being friends with them.

Oh when I was bullied I would do this to them :p

In all seriousness though I just told them off in front off the whole class.

And I got respect because of that.
