And no, I'm not talking about "I bought XXX game for $60, and it sucked so bad, blah blah blah".
I mean, has there ever been a time when you made a trade with someone, either in person, through Ebay, etc, that left you feeling ripped off?

For me it was when I was 10. Being the ignorant little kid I was, I traded 2 rare games (forgot exactly what they were) in exchange for 2 badly beaten hotwheels, that I found at Target the following week for $1...

When I was around eight I traded a very rare Pokemon card for a relatively useless one, I can't remember which one it was, but I was crest-fallen when I found out.

High school. You're cruisin' along, just being a kid, no real responsibility, no homework, all that good stuff, and then BAM! Homework, job, responsibility, puberty, girlfriend...It goes on and on!

I worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. Not only do they rip off their employees (by using weasel language in the employment offer) but they rip off their customers (type in "Jackson Hewitt" to a site like ripoffreport.com and watch it light up like a Christmas tree---most notably the "refund anticipation loans".)

Moral of the story: Don't use those national-brand paid tax services. You'll get ripped off. Either use a certified public accountant, an enrolled agent, or (if you have a simple tax situation) just do them yourself.

Some times I feel riped off when I see the steam sales, but then I remember I have a hard copy, which makes me feel better.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I remember 2 times when I was ripped off, once someone said they would trade wario for the gameboy for humans for the gameboy but they never brought wario and camp ended and I never saw him again, the other time I let someone borrow my copy of bucky o hare for some other game and while I got to keep his game bucky o hare was so much better and I miss it

edit: and I guess for bioshock since it had that damn install limit securom crap in it at launch

I've never been seriously ripped off before. Mostly because I hate spending money and when I do I make sure to check out every aspect of the product to see if its really worth it. That's why I never buy anything that isn't really essential.

Yep. First, the Nintendo Wii (others may not feel that way, but I certainly did). And SOCOM: Confrontation. Sold both of them.
