Except maybe TF2, but even then, that was due to a variety of factors.

Really, i take his viewpoint into account, but i watch most of his reviews for laughs, and never really take it seriously.

yep, i feel just about the same about it. His reviews are merely the highlight of wednesdays, rarely the only reason for buying a game. but, then again, i bought the orange box kinda because he liked it, you know, indirectly: a friend of mine had heard it from yahtzee too, so he bought it and then convinced Me to buy it. It's an awsome collection of games

Depends. This is how I interpret his reviews:

Shit: Don't buy.
Bad: Flawed, but all right
Good: MUST HAVE!

I bought Prototype with that in mind, and I love it. The trick is to buy games based on his opinion rather than not to buy them, really.
