Ever bought a game on impulse?

I bought Fallout 3 pretty much on impulse. I live in a town with no place to get games "sobs quietly" so when I drove an hour to buy Mirrors Edge, I saw Fallout 3 and just fell in love with the BOS soldier on the front. Best. Gaming. Buy. Ever.
For newer titles I always research them. However, once a game gets down to 5 or 6 bucks, I can't be held responsible with my money.
I pretty much only buy on impulse save for once in a while. Any game I don't buy randomly is one I was planning on but just got around to.
Heck, impulse buys were all I did during GameStop's "Buy 2 get 1 free" sale about a week back. Romancing SaGa, The Bouncer, Steambot Chronicles, just stuff. It was great fun. Research takes all the fun out of things.

Tenchu Stealth Assassins, Vigilante 8, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Mobile Suit Gundam Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam, Jet Grind Radio, and Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage. They all turned out to be rather great games.
One game I rented on impulse and wish I owned now is Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. One of the best graffiti based games I've ever played next to playing Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future.

oh yeah I've done it before when I was very little like 4 grade I got good grades on my report card and I got 25 dollars as a reward. we went to wallmart and I bought BattleTanx: Global Assault for the Nintendo 64 despite only having played the first game and having heard nothing about the sequel. good call on my part it turned out to be a great game. and more recently(within the past year) I got Fallout 3. and about 3 years back I got a game called Deathrow for the Xbox, another unknown that'd id never seen before that turned out to be great
Hitman: Blood Money
I had never played a bit of Hitman ever before, never heard anything about it from friends and really knew nothing about it.
But.... it was $5.
I really liked that game. Has some flaws and it was for the original Xbox- I heard theres a 360 version. Felt like I lost out on some of the visuals but a satisfying buy.
Other than that- Lego Star Wars. Definitely not disappointed. Still love that shit

First was Mass Effect, which currently stands as my favorite game of all time, and I am really looking forward to ME2.
Then was Two Worlds and Bioshock, both on the same day. Bioshock was great, but Two Worlds convinced me to never impulse buy again.

Traded in Fallout 3 for GTA IV once. Which probably wasn't wise. But I might be getting the GOTY edition if it's worth it. Once I can permit myself to play games again. Oh, and I traded GTA IV for Devil May Cry 4. Which was probably even more unwise.
I've done this on occasion. I can't remember which ones, but I'll trump you your impulse game-buying for impulse system-buying. You see, I wasn't sure when to get a PS3 when I wanted it, so I kinda' held off for a while, and then I was in a mall for something else...
