Ever bought a game on impulse?

Should also point out I bought Assassins Creed and Fable II impulsively, the latter with Xbox Live Gold, just to test it out.

Recently, Ghost Recon Advance Warfare (very good), Kameo (good) and Warhammer Battle March (not good). So on average I'm up.

Thats how I buy most of my games, and how I bought my PS3. I went into town looking for some cheap 360 games and I came back with a PS3 slim and 3 games.

Anyone else find it Amusing/Ironic(not sure if this calsses as ironic) that his behavior perfectly matches his avatar?

OT: yeah i usually go on impulse at a 2nd hand game shop near me (Ps2 games 15-30 bucks each or 3 for $50)

This year it was Demon's Souls

I often do that, I get into something and buy games associated with that.

I get a lot of games on impulse.
Some good. (Guilty Gear XX A Core +)
Some ok. (Naruto: Ninja Destiny)
Some horrible. (Lunar: Dragon Song)

but i tend to research games before i buy, and its worth the time.

Ugh. I did the same thing with Lunar Song...only game I returned on day of purchase.

Only other game I've impulsively bought was Draglade for the DS...decent game, but got repetitive after a while.

i got it used and returned it within the next week.
What kind of RPG makes you Choose between EXP or items?
You couldn't even choose the target when you were in a fight!

I feel your pain guys. it was truely a terrible game.

Please don't tell me you bought it for PC. When I got it, it was sponsored by the navy or something and made free for download on PC.

OT: All the time, mostly because of Steam weekend deals. Evil Genius, Penumbra collection, Garry's Mod, Mass Effect, Red Orchestra, and some Half-Life pack with HL1, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, and Team Fortress Class. All those were under $10 and haven't really played much of any of them.
