I have a little Samick guitar amp that I rest my feet on while I game and it's gotten so much abuse that all the outer layer has come off and the wood is exposed.

I broke a controller once in my life, that was playing Prince of Persia 2008 when I had to fight the Concubine for the fifth time.

Poor amp. You should make up to it by plugging in the old guitar and giving the little amp a purpose in life. Play something nice for it.

And I try to be nice to my couch. Mostly. But it's just such a handy stress reliever!

Nope, never broken a game. Usually when I get angry at a tough or annoying part of a video game, I'll first furiously mash on all of the buttons on the controller (which, surprisingly, has actually helped me get past a few difficult segments in games), followed shortly after by cussing at my TV, and finally start talking calmly to myself about how idiotic it is.

In retrospect, it's probably not the most healthy progression of anger, but I'll be damned if it wouldn't be hilarious to play back... in fact, the next time I play a stupidly-hard game, I think I'll videotape myself, just to see all of it unfold.

I'm kind of surprised I haven't broken anything yet. I remember them good 'ole days of playing pokemon when something stupid and incredibly infuriating would happen; Either the pokemon would refuse to be caught, or would kill itself, or I would miss every single attack, or just some random string of horrible luck. I would punch that damned Gameboy over and over and over again.

They really made those things durable, neh?

lol Pokemon gave me endless hours of enjoyment, and endless hours of complete frustration. I threw my gameboy across rooms because of that game. Especially at the end, the area right before the elite 4 drove me CRAZY

Actually I do all my recording with my little amp! It's great. It has a cheap, fuzzy kind of crappy sound, but in a kind of cool Queens of the Stone Age way. I love it
