Ever Cosplay?

So far I've only done it once, going as Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite. (Also I bought the costume online because I wanted to look authentic enough for my first real cosplay.) I'd like to do more cosplays, though I still need to put them together...

Who/what did you cosplay as?

Riku from Kingdom Hearts. My friends at the time were going as Sora and Kairi and I got pressured into dressing up as well even though I wasn't really into Kingdom Hearts or cosplay.

Yep, many times. My avatar is the main character I cosplay as, though I change it up for Darth Nihilus in the summer months.

Do you also emulate the voice?

Not that it's necessary, but Vader is one of those cases where the voice is as iconic as the costume, so making both part of your cosplay seems like something to do, if only for the bonus authenticity points.

I've got an arduino voice distorter that gets me pretty close. It was a right pain to get built and working correctly though, so not something I recommend to most casual cosplayers.

heh, I can relate. I cosplay as a leather & fiberglass fetishist in a state where winter temperatures are 20 - 25 celcius.

There are full pictures of my doing Hei from Darker Than Black because a couple of guys took my photo at MCM Manchester last year and sent me the photos but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Just me trying on Mr. Hat-and-Clogs' hat from Bleach when it first arrived. I wanted a cosplay of someone who owned a shop that I can wear when I'm trying to sell things at conventions and Urahara was the first one to come to mind.

Was going to get the full costume all at once but had problems with the order so got my money back instead, haven't got round to ordering the rest yet.

Considering the hat is really tight on my head I may have got the sizes wrong so it may be a good thing the rest didn't turn up.

I know there are pics of me doing Eren from Attack On Titan and Sora from No Game No Life out there somewhere as well.

No. I've wanted to, but I don't really have the resources to put together a decent costume. Also I've never really gone to a big con so I've never had to opportunity.

This, though that's going to change for me in a couple of months.
