Maybe, most of the time I have a reason, it maybe obscure to everyone else but I tend to have a reason.

sometimes reach jars for old ladies at supermarkets and hold doors open for strangers with crutches, nothing too much.

Yes, I have. Because pretending you're too 'cool' to be decent to another human being is just pathetic.

I always do nice things for no reason, if you do nice things for a reason it doesn't feel as good.

Of course, in fact the business I am running at the moment was set up just out of that need to help others. But then in the UK, its an established thought that most people want something for your help, or are trying to screw you over.

As such they tend to be less trusting of those who offer it.

It occasionally happens to me... just random things. I guess I'm a good person. I guess.

Quite often. It's kind of my repeating sentance. "Is there anything I can do to help you."

And after they confirm that there is something, I do it.

Then again, it gives me a strong position over them. So it's not per sé for 'no reason'.

One time when I was a kid these two kids I knew (they were my friends at the time) were taking the piss out of this really nerdy kid and I informed them of what tossers they were. Does that count?

Plenty of times! In fact, I've done an extra 4 hours today at work just to make sure the jobs gets done.

Personal note* I hate my job. However, my co-workers are humans too.

Meh, I'm too nice I think. Random acts of kindness seem to be my thing.

Last year, a freshman I had never met before forgot their ID (you need it to buy food at my school)and I ended up buying him some fries. Also a little while back I helped a woman who had knocked over a ton of bicycles set them back up. Those are the ones that stick out right now.

Once I helped an old lady carry her granny-bag (you know, those things on wheels) down some stairs. I'll always hold the door for someone, and I'll always help animals if they need it.

Not that I can think of. Hmm I might have to work on that. But would that then be a reason? Interesting.
