My 360 red-ringed at 8pm on the day before gears of war 2 was released (My local Game was opening at midnight for the game so I was only 4 hours away from playing) so instead of doing the sensible thing, sending my xbox away for a free repair, i went and bought a brand new 360 at the same time as buying GoW2 
Incidentally I did send off my xbox for repair and just got it back, so now I have two and feel a little bit stupid
