I run a video game club at the college I attend, and we get some interesting fellas. One of my friends has successful annoyed many of my club members just because he talks too much and tries to change the game that we're playing by mentioning everything he wants in the game. To be honest, all of us just want to play the games and can give 2 !%@#'s about this guy's opinions.

Uh oh, I'm probably that person. I used to ramble about my Final Fantasy XI adventures to my roommate and boyfriend...roommate listened more politely. Boyfriend would start rambling about European history because he knows I don't care.
I also drove my coworkers nuts for months before Fallout 3 came out. And will probably do the same when Final Fantasy XIII gets a date.

I do have friends like that. He gets like that with a lot of things. Like the Watchmen movie.

COD4. I woudn't mind if i had the freaking game but a lack of a PS3 and care prevents me from doing so.

Not so much anymore, but I had a friend a while ago (I haven't talked to him in a couple years) who didn't stop talking about halo 2, and the upcoming release of halo 3. My current annoyance with talkative gamer friends is the fact that a close friend doesn't shut up about starcraft 2 and how he wants it badly and wants it to have his babies, so on and so forth. It's quite creepy at times.
