Yes, sort of. I was once tasked (together with my best friend) to support some outsider kid on a school I went to. He had trouble fitting in, and making friends etc. However this guy was so fucking annoying you wouldnt believe. I have never before or since seen anything like it. Me and my best friend stuck with it though, and defended him when the other students were less than nice to him and treated him really well. This went on some time, and at some point, weeks/months into the "project" me and my best mate wanted some free time.

We told him we wanted to be by ourselves for a while and said we could hook up later (he was with us more or less around the clock we were living at this school). At this point the guy we were taking care of threatened to tell some extremely personal secret my best friend had to the rest of the students...I almost lost it.

I dont think I before or since have been so angry, and my friend told me later the mere look on my face made him think "holy shit he's gonna kill him!". I internally raged like an exploding volcano and calmly talked to the idiot. I dont remember my exact words, but it was some sort of vow of revenge if he EVER brought this up again.

I try to sparingly use the word hate, because there is precious few things I truly hate and even fewer persons...but this guy...oh yeah. White seething hatred.

I used to, but I learnt some rave dance moves and infiltrated his secret lair. I then whooped his ass with a banjo.

Cookie for the reference.

OT: Er, no. A few enemies, but no-one I'd describe as a nemesis.

Yeah, in Year 9 to Year 11 (13-16), there was this chick who thought she could push me about and take the piss out of me all the time.

I laughed so bad when her boyfriend dumped her for kissing a girl. XD

She's alright now though (3 years on), and turns out, is a lesbian :D

I never really had a nemesis per say. I had some people who were dickish to me, but that all seemed to stop when I inexplicably got some sort of reputation from playfighting with some friends and tossing a few of them around like ragdolls when they tried to join in. Being a hefty git had its advantages at times.

I've had three. Well, three TRIED.

First one talked a pretty good game, but did nothing (Other than let his naked girl friend run around our shared kitchen area, which is one of the most disturbing things ever done to me).

The other two were wimps. I made both of them cry without laying a finger on me. I do not know why they wanted to make an enemy of me.

No real nemesis, there is this one guy I work with, he works in one of the sections I work in, but only when I'm not working there, eventually this one day at a staff meeting I said: "I will destroy you!!!!" to him. Since then it's kinda become an in joke that he's my arch-nemesis. No real hate for each other though, just finding a way to pass time in a really shitty restaurant workplace.

No. But oddly now I want one. How does one go about getting a nemesis?

I want my nemesis to cackle loudly and sneer a lot.

And maybe wear a fedora as well.

I used to have a lot I mean a lot of nemesis when I was a kid. They would end with us fighting. I remember I would pick fight with the lead bully who had his own group and everything. His group and my group would have fights in jungle gyms and empty playgrounds where adult eyes cannot see. Those were the days. Later it got less fun as I cared more about not getting into trouble and ruining my reputation as a good kid in the eyes of adults. This made dealing with the people who were born to make you miserable difficult. Although eventually I traded my fist for silence and traded that for smart alek witt but to be quite honest it's in self defense because I really don't want to fight with anyone.

There's this one guy I hate on the internet with an increduble passion. I mean merely seeing his username gives me an ulcer. nemesis are not fun. And they certainly don't have a secret sexual attraction to you like in so many fanfics(seriously what's up with that?).

Don't even get me started.

One douchebag called Ben. Bullied me for 4 years, then suddenly stopped. He then got a girlfriend and, despite advice from me (An informed progressive) and my friend (A pharmist's assistant) wouldn't use protection.

He also has crappy hair, and his face looks like a fish mated with a baboon.

Ummm... and he's been kicked out of College.

Yeah, ever since Primary School there was this one guy, Chris Lord. The back and forth between us lasted just over a decade. We acted unpleasantly to each other, called each other names and occasionally had we fights (I usually won, I have always been in better shape).

Im not even sure who started it in the first place, probably him though. He's really loud and obnoxious and I was a quiet and introversed person untill I gained some of my lost confidence. The fact was I just remeber just wanting to be left alone.

Now at college I have a new Nemesis called Abu, if we fight I will probably win 4 years of Boxing and 3 months of Bujinkan has helped. (I really dont like to fight now anyway, Im doing Bujinkan to avoid fighting.)

"Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible ****... me."

Needed to be said.

I never had a nemesis. Had a rival though. Seriously, he was better than me in everything I was good at. This was when we were both kids though - while at Uni he got in a punch up and was arrested on an assault charge. Guess that means I win right? :D

Can I say 'reality'?

OT: This one guy in primary school (not even my class. He would find me during recess and trips) who was a pain in my ass for 3 years for reasons I never understood. I tried becoming friends with him at one point, because I'd been raised to be a wimp by 90's teen dramas (thanks, Saved by the Bell), but he wasn't having it. Said there was no way he'd be friends with a 'fat idiot'.

Jokes on him, because I lost the weight in secondary school, but he got freaking huge and (possibly as a result) stopped pestering me. Then one day I heard he'd flunked out and was looking for work to support his gf and baby. I graduated near the top of my year. One of those "all is right with the world" moments, you know? And yes, I do feel kinda bad for the child who will be raised by this broke drop-out, but I should be allowed my little victory without caring about the rest of the world, dammit!

In elementary school a girl had a crush on my best friend, so needless to say we took it upon ourselves to mercilessly beat her and her friends, although because we were 7 this amounted to chasing her and pushing her down, still not exactly something I would repeat.

Edit: also in elementary school I became friends with a kid in my class, he came over to my house once and after that he hated me for an unknown reason. He moved to another part of town the next year but still disliked me when we entered middle school about 3 years later. Now I'm in high school and he is in half my classes, he and I are complete opposites (he is a great football (american style) and lacrosse player and I am a part of my high school radio station) but get along fine and I still don't know why he hated me for 4 years.
