I just got back from the hospital. I've been having severe abdominal pain for months now and turns out, I had an ovarian cyst and a fallopian tube torsion (it was twisted 8 freaking times but we didn't know it before the surgery). Fuuuun. So my parents panicked reeeaaal bad when they heard the diagnosis and insisted on taking me to the ER last night (even though I had an appointment this morning) but I'm glad they did. So basically I had surgery, and now I'm feeling a lot better. I've been pigging out too since I haven't eaten anything in two days.

So folks, lets hear your hospital stories. :D

Other than diabetes check ups, I've had to go to hospital a couple of times. Once was when I cut my finger open on a bike wheel when I was 5 or 6, and another time when I nearly went into a coma. Not the most fun, but I'm fine now.

Yup, I used to have really bad asthma attacks where I would stop breathing and such when I was a small child.

There were a couple of times where I had these and started vomiting and literally could not breathe at all. Not fun. So I'd have to go to the hospital.

At least I'd get some cool pajamas out of it. My local hospital gives out badass footsie pajamas to little kids.

I've had what could have been appendicitis twice and tonsilitis about 6 times. I went to the hospital, I wasn't taken by an ambulance or anything.

Multiple times.

Went last summer and was there for a week, getting tested. Found out I have Crohn's. Now I go for a check up every now and then.

Went before due to random acts of sickness. Later found out it was because my bed had mold in it. >_>

Also gone for asthma attacks before.

A few times. The first time... was to be born I guess :p.
But more seriously: once because I suffered an asthma attack (just after midnight no less).

Another few times to have an x-ray and a cast placed on my arm (and another visit about three weeks later to get it removed(also I think there was another in between to make sure it was healing properly)).

I haven't had to go to the hospital for any sicknesses or injuries for myself, but I used to accompany my mother whenever she had to go in for chemotherapy.

In school at the pool, somebody took their swimming goggles, stretched them out, said "Hey." I turned around and took it in the eye. Scratched the cornea, exploded some blood vessels and generally messed up my face. I don't remember much about going to the hospital, just being completely blind. I went to an eye specialist and I just remember the pain as he forced my eyelids open so he could look at the damage. One eye was fine, just swollen shut (and didn't open for 3 days.) The other eye was messed up bad. I was blind in both eyes for a bit under a week and in the one eye for well over a month. Eventually all the blood drained away from the eyeball in the injured one and I could see again. Both eyes need corrective lenses, but I needed glasses before so I don't know. I do know I may have a loose retina and am exempt from military service.

Also, I can still feel the scratch on my eyeball. It itches sometimes. Basically, scar tissue forms on it to try and get it to heal, but then my blinking rubs it off. I feel it when it gets rubbed off. Then more scar tissue grows back. I'm told eventually it will grow to cover my entire eye and cover my pupil, but that's not a big deal anymore because when it's a problem, they'll burn it off with a laser.

That's my only serious injury.

When i was a few months old, I was throwing up and I had diarrhea. Then when I was 11, I broke my arm.
