Well my hospital stories all involve me getting sent to A&E.
The most dramatic being when I was ran over....Thankfully I only remember waking up. Trust me kiddies bike helmets really do save your life (Especially if you are T-Boned between the speed of 40-50 miles per hour)

As for injuries...a shit load of bruising 5 stitches in the back of my head (From the support strap of the helmet {If I wasn't wearing it I would have no head left most likely})
13 stitches in my lower back, a massive laceration that had to be stitched from either side to close the middle and got infected (Apparently it went green!)
and 3 in my ass XD whats even funnier about that last bit is that a rather hot student nurse had to remove them...and it was the first time she had removed stitches XD

just a few check ups, nothing major. But my sister had to have heart surgery when she was eight.

I was born four months to early so I was rushed to the emergensy room aloot when i was 4 months old, breathing problem, blood poisening that kind of things.
Now its been mostly blood tests, brain scans and those kinds of study-related tests(to see how peeps with my background deal with life, apperantly some prenatal peeps do great and some do not).

My only big thing is when I misjudged a jump when I was snowboarding and dislocated my left hip-joint, the fall wasent bad but the waiting was annying ^^.

Had my ear stitched up when I was three (the top half had become detached from the rest of the head, so it was quite floppy) I did it by chasing a balloon and erm... falling down the stairs.

Got hit by a truck once, woke up there. Had to stay for about 3 days, so my ribs would be ''on their way to recovery''. And three months before that I visited the ER because I'd been stabbed in my upper arm, so they stitched me up.
Never really found the hospital that bad though...

Got food poisoning in Indonesia, and had to spend three nights in the hospital while on a drip. Somehow during the night, the needle had bent and made this raised arch under the skin of my hand. It freaked the nurse out.

Ah that sucks my mum had an ovarian cyst burst a few weeks ago :(
My worst experience was when I went to see my G.P. because I wasn't feeling too well (I was about 9 at the time) and it turns out I had meningitus so I was injected with something that hurt more than anything i'd ever felt before then I was taken to the hostpital in a ambulance and luckily I managed to cheat/escape death.

Several times, there was a time in my life in which I practiced very dangerous sports, so yeah, I visited the emergency room quite often.

I had to go on in once a year ago, because I thought I was having a heart attack.

Pains in my chest, feeling of a heavy person sitting on me... Very scary.

Three hours, I got an extended version of "I don't fucking know" from the doctors. At least it wasn't a heart attack!

On the brightside, I recently read that I've actually got a condition called "Precordial Catch Syndrome". Exactly what I'm suffering from; I'm so relieved :]

All the time; I have really bad milk and egg allergies. I've had some attempts made at my life through family dinners or mishandling of food that have landed me in the hospital twice in the last six months.

well, one time my grandpa had this ridiculously swolen leg, so we took him to the hospital and waited for 8 hours before the doctors saw him. Turns out he had a clot and almost died, and now i am never going to the hospital in my town again. even If I'm dying, it would probably make more sense to drive for an hour to get to a decent medical facility.

How funny that I end up clicking on this. Awe that sucks friend, I hope you end up feeling better. And I've only been to the hospital for other people... I'm a pretty healthy person. I dislike hospitals with a passion, though.

A looooooong time ago I had appendicitis but besides that nothing really.
I had that too, they didn't operate because it was "too tender", they then sent me home and it had died down. Unfortunately the trip has left a scar on me, an elderly woman in the room next to me (apparently hard of hearing) was explaining to a doctor about how she had blood in her stool. The start of the conversation I have managed to mostly repress, sadly the worst part still haunts me... After hearing what was wrong the doctor said "Well let's have a look" and then I heard the rip of a diaper, "oh boy" the doctor said. The rest of the conversation was mostly medical jargon, so I didn't really get (nor did I want to) any of it...

Other than an ear infection, that was really the only trip I have ever had to the hospital.

When I was about 7 I fell on some ice and busted my chin open so i needed to have stitches for that. Then at 20 I had to have surgery to remove a cyst, I think, that was in a bad spot and caused a crap load of pain when trying to stand and walk. Then at 23 I woke up in the hospital to the sounds of heart beat monitors, because I apparently had been in a car accident. I don't remember anything about it though. The last thing that I remembered was being in the front passenger's seat of a friend's car and reaching into the back seat for a case of cd's. Then directly to waking up in the ER to the sound of beep beep, beep beep, seeing all kinds of wires and tubes coming off of me and someone being paged over the intercom system. Talk about your good old fashion mind fuck.

Yup, once for surgery on my leg and again for a reason I don't really feel comfortable talking about on here.
Well damn, now I'm curious!

OP: I went in twice, both for concussions from riding a bike without a helmet.

A few weeks ago I was in a National park in Croatia. We were at this big waterfall and a rock came from nowhere and hit me right on the head. It was about 6 metres above me. I went into shock and couldn't move my legs. Then because I live in Ireland and I was in Croatia which isn't in the EU they wouldnt give me stitches so I had to drive for two hours to Slovenia and get treated there. I have a pretty neat scar in the shape of an L right on the top of my head. Come to think of it it's like a massive Loser sign. Damn.
