For the awesomeness of Star Wars battlefront and timesplitters yes.
Man my PS2 is ancient though, oddly the lights that are supposed to fly around on the browser are stuck in one position.

So my fellow escapists, do you ever feel the odd need to play your old ps2, Xbox or nintendo brick box? I sometimes do with my loyal and ancient ps2, so what about you? Why do you get such urges?
How are the xbox, PS2 or gamecube old?
I go back to my sega master system, megadrive and my Sega saturn (yes I have one) occasionally.
And there's much older systems than those 3 as well.

I still fire up my PS2 and Nintendo64 from time to time. PS1 games jump on the PS2 and anything older I just use emulators.

No, and stop spreading nostalgia. Those games were terrible! They had shit controls, shit stories and shit graphics. Even sonic games today are better than they used to be on the Sega and I don't care what anybody says. And before you ask...

Oooh, flame the OP for asking a question. fun times we live in. I play my ps2 quite often when the computer releases dry up, the controls also worked really well for racing games. There is always joy to be had with spiderman 2 or SW battlefront 2.

I saw Tekken at a local arcade when I was passing through and it really made me want to play the only Tekken I was any good at, Tekken 3, just had to break out the old PS1 and try and remember how that arial connection thing used to work, and then try and translate that to a modern television lol, good times! :D

Ancient PS2? Ancient? Seriously? I mean we area talking about the game system that still has <url=http://ps2.ign.com/index/release.html>games scheduled for release on it?
It's old enough that I've had to have it replaced and repaired. It came out more than 7 years ago, windows XP is also old, then again so is the ferrari brand, but they were all made well and, as such have lasted the ages and are very affordable (minus the ferrari, of course.)

I gave away my PS2 and most of my PS2 games :'(

But I learned my lesson and intend on holding onto my Gamecube forever. It still sits right next to my Xbox360 for a reason.

Heh, mine's placed ontop of my 360, purely to save me some space :D.

A couple of months ago I have the need to play Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's Adventure and Pokemon Crystal, both for the GBC. I played through the former, but sadly, the battery in my Crystal had died and it wouldn't save my data anymore, which is a shame. That game was awesome, the best in the series.

Not really since I don't have any of my old consoles left.
Shame, I don't know what life would be like without my ps2. I don't play it often but it's one of those "pride in possession things" except spiderman 2 is worth half of the world's modern pc games.
