Ever heard a song the you like and you don't know the name of it?

Theres this song thats been going around my school - i hear it everyday - that sounds vaguely like R2D2 having a heartattack and i love it. Ive heard it for weeks but never heard any lyrics so i can search for it. But today i finally found out what it was. Riverside by Sidney Samson.

OT: thought of another one, when I used to go to this Under 18s thing in Glasgow, I always heard two songs. One of them was Monument by a Day To Remember. I remembered the lyrics for it, but when I searched the lyrics, I always found it under the name of Colder Than My Heart, which is a different song. & it wasn't until I bought For Those Who Have A Heart that I found out the real name of it.

& the other was This is More by Stick To Your Guns. I couldn't understand/remember the lyrics at that point, but I could remember the guitar. I spoke to my friend Tam about it, weeks later, and sang(?) the guitar to him & he told me what it was.

If I've got pen and paper handy, I write down some lyrics and search for the song on youtube or Google 'em. SO yeah, it happens to me a lot.

Yeah i do that. Then again, its worse when your out and suddenly you start humming/singing the words to a song that you havn't heard for years and can't remeber (and thats not with the shop having it on their radio because today i started singing the chorus to a song which wasn't playing).

there was a song that I loved as a kid, and only remembered the tune but not the title or artist.
It took me 10 years but I finally found it.
What a day that was.

But I think it's absolutely balls that radio stations don't tell you the titles of songs anymore. They just play them and expect you to know.
