There s a demo on the eshop now, it looks like it starts after a bunch of shops are already up and the oasis has been started? I guess?

Anyone else going to play this?

From what I've seen from the previews/gameplay and from playing the demo. It seems like a fun game. Planning on getting it week 1 tbh. Don't know the last time I bought a game within a year of release actually.

it hasn't interested me very much because it is just yet "ANOTHER" rpg type game on the 3DS and i also hate deserts. they're always so boring in every game i play.


i'll give this game the benefit of the doubt i might play it, but i'm personally going to buy all the other amazing Nintendo games coming out for the rest of this year like Splatoon 2, Metroid Samus Returns, Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 before i buy Ever Oasis.

Ever Oasis just isn't a big priority on my To Buy List at the moment

I preordered it from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. Looks to scratch my Crytsal Chronicles/Fantasy Life/portable Zelda ith.

I was under the impression it was a light Life Sim from the makers of Fantasy Life. Turns out I was wrong, it looks to be a straight up action-rpg.

I mean the game still looks good on its own right, but I would wait for a sale instead of buying it day 1, especially with all the other sales going around this month. Then again, that may be futile, considering the 3DS and Wii U sales have never been all that great, but have gotten particularly bad since the Switch came out.

I'd say that too, but there's a new Layton game in the fall and Monster Hunter Stories and there's still the chance Dragon Quest XI shows up in NA.

I don't know what to make of it. At first I thought it was some sort of Zelda-type game but then in the trailer I saw it looked more like it was more of a social-kind of city-builder sort of thing? So I have no idea if that is like, a core mechanic in a kind of Animal Crossing deal or if it's like a side-mechanic like in Bravely Default or Pokemon OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire - if it's the former I suppose I'll give it a miss and if it's the latter then perhaps I'll take a look when it comes out/whenever I see it.
