This thread again. Yeah, I quicksave, and after I play Thief for too long I find myself checking my visibility gem. And I make the hand motion for the ctrl key, to crouch. I find it interesting that we do this kind of thing.

Staring at a bottlecap for long before remembering the thing actually doesn't have value
HA! If I had a nickel every time that happened to me it' especially funny that one of chemistry assignment in class involved a bottle caps (we were learning even distribution)

When its quitting time at work I often reach for my backpack with the idea that I can use my hearthstone...

All the time. If I play a game too much I tend to play it in my head while I'm trying to go to sleep and occasionally I'll even dream about a game.

Also, I vividly remember driving to Sonic one night with my roommate when I saw some people walking across the bridge over the road. My first thought was QUICK! Shoot em! I had recently been playing Battlefield.

My life is so hard. ;)

This got me thinking. Shouldn't there be an official term for this kind of thing? Anyone care to help me come up with one?

I'm pretty disappointed when I pull a knife out of my pocket and don't end up speeding down the street.

Sometimes, I think of ways that I can manipulate others for my own benefit. But I decide not to do so, because I'm attempting a Light Side playthrough :p.

Ever play Grand Theft Auto four like, 6 hours and then have to drive somewhere? There's a lesson in "Oh wait, I can't do that."
Every time I drive somewhere, I have an almost irresistable urge to run into any motorcycle I see so I can watch them pirouet through the air.

Also: I find that I more often try to use CTRL + F whenever I read and need to find something.

the closest I've came to this kind of thing is when I would play a game so much that at night my dreams would have a similar visual style as the game.

hmn when i was playing wow i used to hear the ding! sound all the time just out of no where... kinda like if you watch to much law and order in one go and just hear dun dun! at every turn for the rest of the day. Your even hearing it right now.
What i do notice more tho is if playing one game a lot changes how i try to play other games. For example if im playing loads of blazblue and then switch to super street fighter 4, i find myself trying to instant block and burst out of pressure all the time... and then i loose the round when i try to air dash and forget you cant airblock in SSF4 lol.
otherwise its small things like making video game analogies all the time, like when i improove at something i say i leveled up.

I've had the strong urge to climb buildings Assassin's Creed style.
I secound this! Once I was at a friends cottage, I looked at the roof of the house and seriously thought "Pfft... I can climb that..."
In the end I talked myself out of it.

Not really games, but more TV, specifically Firefly and the movie Serenity, I often catch myself saying 'Gorram' and 'Shiny' ><
