I've played Guitar Hero and Rock Band so much that I saw the fret board scrolling down in front of me every time I closed my eyes. That was a bit creepy. It made it hard to sleep as well.
OMG i thought i was the only one
after playing video games i wonder if i am being controlled by some small nerdy kid
who forces me to do things against my will
but maybe thats still just me
When I'm listening to my iPod, sometimes one of the songs from Galaxy News Radio in Fallout 3 will come on and I'll instantly start thinking about where I can go in, what to loot and if there are going to be super mutants, ghouls or raiders around
I always get the urge to save my game so I can try a situation two or more different ways. (Fallout 3/ Oblivion.)
Also, after a long Borderlands session once, everything in real life appeared slightly cell-shaded.
Well when I was 8 or so, after playing gratuitous ammounts of Halo I starting seeing the HUD in my actual vision. I would be staring at the toilet, taking a piss and suddenly noticed that on the wall to the left of me I could "HOLD X TO PICK UP [Shotgun icon]".
About two years ago, after one-too-many games of Mario Kart, I turned to my friend while he was driving and said, "If you'd just press the L button you could drift around the corners and we wouldn't be late for school. Oh wait..."
when I was a kid after playing resident evil I imagined to have a status screen like in the game: items and the commands "use" "check" and "combine". Kinda funny.
When I organize the things I try and do it in tetris form so that everything fits perfect with no spaces left unused. Also, there may have been a few times where I could have sworn I had a HUD in my vision.
