this popped into my head for some reason.
Captcha: Fall guy. Why yes captcha, I do use my co-op partners as meat shields in Dark Souls.

Double list time!

Official List of Fictional Organisations You do Not Want to Piss Off #1

Yes, the SCP-Foundation. The Men in Black-style secret organisation with a habit of jumping off the slippery slope and then trudging back up. The gist of it is that the organisation dates back to the 1800s, when it was called ASCI, and is dedicated to "protecting normality", a translation being that any item or being that simply should not exist is contained by the Foundation to prevent a) panic, b) people using powerful objects to do untold damage, c) the End of the World as We Know it.
They can be found at scp-wiki.net
They don't seem like much at first, but the objects they contain tend to be Eldritch Abominations that cannot be killed or other such horrid beings, which brings me to my next point...

Badasses Who Deserve More Recognition #1

Yep, them again. The operatives that the stories go into are all stone cold badasses who have really earned their place, but special mention goes to this fellow:

Dr. Alto Clef. Alto. Fucking. Clef.
He's the Foundation's specialist in dealing with reality benders, people who can bend reality with sheer force of will. He has killed over 100 of them. Let that sink in. He killed more than 100 gods. GODS! There has been speculation in the forums as to whether he is actually human or not (some people claim he's the Devil himself, others claim he's the SCP Foundation version of Alucard from Hellsing. We'll get to him, though, don't worry) while the author sits back and smiles.
Dr. Alto Clef, He'll turn your gun into a fucking bagel.
