I like being alone on days like this, means I can play a game on high volume without anyone busting into my room. Argh should have got a horror game.
I don't know how to help...maybe go outside?
That's what I do if I'm bored as hell and lonely.

Halloween is over in 52 minutes? Hell man, not even a toddler in a cat suit has rang my bell yet!
I was confused at first too, he's British so its later there. On topic that was (almost) my entire freshman year of college, nobody wanted a single guy around.

I'm in the same boat as the topic creator. I'd go out, but where to? Go for a walk? I'd still be alone.

Partys suck anyway always one or two dicks who want to try and act hard, loud screaming stupid girls and bad remix music blazing in the background while booming speakers skullfuck your brain, yeah totaly miss that.
I hear ya. Hell, at my college, parties pretty much consist of some dudes standing around a table playing beer pong while everyone else just stands there and watches. And then some dumbass comes up to me and is all like "You need to get hammered." Yeah, that's not going to make this party any more fun. Drunk chicks aren't exactly fun to be around either, unless you're just plain horny and you don't mind your clothes getting smeared with vomit.

Hm, funny, I was having a similar feeling, as in "hm, it's halloween, I should be out doing something" - it's nice to see that there are a bunch of people in a similar situation as me. Although, in all honesty, I'd rather just stay home and play video games and watch a movie anyway - a testament to my geekiness, I suppose.

Now, before everyone tells me to get a life and to stop complaining about shit, let me elaborate...

Today is Halloween (for another 50 minutes), and everyone else is out having fun and getting really drunk at parties. Whilst I'm sat on my own on here.

I rang FIVE different people asking what they were doing. Then I decided to ask everyone on Facebook what they were doing. Nobody decided to give me an answer. So I ended up doing nothing. (I then asked again but still they said "DUNNO!")

I don't know if it's my fault or what, but I feel like an outcast.

Has this happened to anyone else?

(Also, I may be complaining, but for once I genuinely feel lost and confused at why nobody wants me to do go out with them.)
Yes, and its the worst feeling in the world when you feel nobody can be bothered with you. To be honest though mate, you haven't missed that much I'd say. Halloween is as easy of an excuse to get pissed as bonfire night, christmas eve, etc. Besides, most of the people out on the streets are dickheads. Don't worry about it my man.

Allow me to join you. I dislike going out, though. Well, what constitutes 'going out' nowadays. Nightclubs, namely. Girlfriend may be coming over from one at some point during the night, which is nice. If she does.

I'm surrounded by like 30 people right now, but I wanted to tip a hat to the Escapist for a minute, I know it's tough and sucks when all your friends are out doing stuff and you're sitting at home, I'm a Dad, I know how it is. But, if anyone is in MA, you can come to my party!

I find it funny that everyone who responds to this thread are in the same boat of the "I'm not doing anything/I'm alone for Halloween" bit. I mean, really, what did you expect when you created this topic?
I was the victim of changing groups of friends recently, and was thus not invited to either party.
Ah well, life goes on. I was also supposed to go to a friend's house to bake a cake for no real reason other than the fact that it's cake, but he was having two other people over, so that didn't work out either.

But that's alright! I mean, jeez. I'm on the Escapist.
At least I have that to turn to!

I spent 15 hours at work today, and now that I've come back home, everybody's gone out. And my feet really hurt. So we're basically in the same boat.

But Borderlands will always be my friend.

Agreed. But having people shout over mic at you is equally as entertaining.

Edit: I decided that instead of drowning my sorrows like I normally do, I'd drown my sorrows like I normally do and shout things down XBL whilst playing CoD4. Ahh, the good life.
Who cares about other people. If you want to go out and they don't - just go out on your own, fuck it. That's what I do. I couldn't care less what my friends are up to most of the time, if I waited for them to get their shit in gear I'd be waiting till I was an old man.

Ho boy. Story of my life mate...
Like tonight I sat around and blew off making concrete plans with anyone because my girlfriend wanted to go trick or treating with her little brother and that was the only time I could see her in the last 2 weeks, and then we get done with that and nobody wants to grab free chipotle or pick up their phones.

So I'm watching Zombieland. Niceee

I'm sick as a dog, so yeah, no big Halloween awesomeness for me. However, I don't really care either way. It's just an excuse to drink and look at women dressed up like cheap whores. You can get that at any party, any time of year.

If I wasn't sick my plan would probably be:
1. Invite girlfriend over
2. Scary movie
3. ???
4. profit

Then go to a midnight party with her and my friends.
