as far as I know the whole thing is about sex, its a fetish for crying out loud.
It's not. It's not only about sex, or just a fetish. That's what gets the most attention, though, so it's an easy mistake to make.

As the guy above me states, I kinda thought the whole furry thing was about sex. I'm a paraphrasing, of course.
Like I said, it's not. That's a common misconception.
ALSO NO SEXY JESUS PLEASE, WHY ARE YOU POSTING SEXY JESUS

Say what you want about Muslims, but at least their religion saves us from any sexy Muhammed pictures.

They even draw boobs... on Boobs!
Eventually every picture of breasts grows in complexity resulting in a fractal.... a boob-shaped fractal.

This is the most retard thread topic I've ever seen.
Isn't there another internet rule about stupidity in thread topics being asymptotic?

First off, similar to what everybody is getting at:

You are on the internet, deal with it.

Also everybody has their sexual kinks. The internet is a place where people know that if they don't outright tell other people who they are, people won't know such dark secrets about them. The internet is what makes such things become magnified because it allows anybody to post and find the things that are involved in their kinks.

I have Deviant Art account, and I have heard of that other place, but you will never see me tread there.

You really picked the worst places to bring up sexual kinks and such, because you picked the most likely places where such things would be.

You remind me of those bizarre people on Deviant Art that get all grossed out, rage, and weirdly make little stamps to proclaim they hate fetishes and such. And such people that leave comments on other people's fetish art and/or nude photography and say similar things like, "Get off DA you sickos", or "Eww that's gross and degrading". It goes on and on.

As people that make and post such art say, "If you don't like it, don't look, or look for it". There is a reason Deviant Art has mature tags, because there could be such things. Also, if you don't want to see such sexual kink art, don't go to a place called "Deviant" Art. Heck one one of the first few related words under "deviant" in the thesaurus is "fetishist".

Long story short:

You are not going to get people to stop being deviant, on a place a site called Deviant Art. Live with it. All art on their shows up as little thumbnail pics, so you won't see it exactly if you glance over it. So if something strikes you as possibly being gross, don't click on it to view it. Just imagine a group of hands waving you along and away.

I have a DeviantArt where I post my photography, which consists of young ladies posing either clothed, nude, or everything in between. Whenever you post 1 photo you get bombarded with likes and comments and favorites and then after 15 minutes your photo disappears into the depths never to be seen again.

The "artistic nude" section of DA is a gong show. There are many accounts who just steal porn pics and post it up, pretty much just making a collection of their favorite photos. There's also those people who just take a close up of their junk and post it, but they put it in B&W so now it becomes "art" and not just a picture of your pecker. If these people laid off then maybe my stuff would stay up longer.

I get why the OP's mad, I'm just clearly not as worked up as he is.

When doing a failcast for the 'pist the other week I accidentally came across the cover of a book about Will Wheaton's character in Star Trek called Teenage Sex Machine... this followed to accidentally stubling upon more stuff by the same actor, including a gay novel about Sherlock Holmes and dear old Dr Watson... I didn't let this bother me because a) I am an adult, b) It wasn't made for me and c) people are odd... Just look for grotesquelycute pics of brightly coloured fake animals other places!

Also... sort the title out! It's misleading! It implies that nothing in the world is sexy, when we all know that that can't be true, because, well, moustache!!! |

Having a DeviantART account, I will agree that seeing super inflated fat girls get insane amount of views is disturbing, but that's kind of what we accept in order to express ourselves. [sub]Also, I'm just insanely jealous that other work gets more views than mine. Sour grapes galore![/sub]

And hey, at least it's practically free of guro. *knocks on wood*
But you know all of us DeviantArt users just post sexy shit. Hell even my photography is inherently sexy. Even though 90% of it is scenery and 50% of that scenery is Disneyland......And even my weaponry photos are sexy because I happened to be wearing a corset when I was taking the photos....We just can't get away from it. /sarcasm

I've seen pics of whats her name who was the glitch from wreck-it-Ralph
...is this a spoiler? Could someone who's seen the movie tell me if this is a spoiler?
Hardly. You're not told straight away but you can assume so by looking at how she moves. There's bigger reveals in the movie, trust me.
Phew! Huge thanks. I would have seen it already if it had been released here in Sweden, but it hasn't.
Yeah the character in question is
Vanellope Von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman's Character)
the ad's don't hint to her being a glitch but shortly after you see her on-screen for the first time when she gets near the race track the racers and others start calling her "that glitch" and "what's she doing here" so it's not a major spoiler just something that wasn't made known really prior.

Even hentai foundry has category filters. But everybody has their own kink.
I think Hentai Foundry is like the classy rule 34. Because, well several reasons, but mainly because it automatically filters out the (really) screwed up shit.

OT: As someone who may have an extensive small collection of the thing the article goes against... Well, I have lot's of video game related hentai on an external hard drive (2 Gb you sick bastard) and I don't consider myself a creepy perv. I also have a bunch of Celebrity Fakes (mostly Milla Jovovich) which I assume you're also against. Anyway, it's not just pervs that enjoy "pariodical" hentai... Right?

I just really don't see why this is an issue at all. If you have such an aversion to Rule 34 etc. then simply avoid it. People are making things they find hot/cool/whatever they feel like. They have every right to do so. Just like you/anyone else has every right to dislike it. That's how this stuff works. If you don't like it, avoid it.

There is a reason it is called Deviant art, because it deviates from what is perceived as normal. Also saying everyone who posts to that site is a pervert is unfair to those who don't produce porn on that site. I have found many deviant art pages where the artist doesn't create porn. Also rule 34 exists for a reason and safe search is your friend if you don't wish to see porn.

Welp, them's the rules. Remember; the internet is full of people, and no matter what it is, someone will find it sexy, and there will be pornography of it. It's just one of the many charming, horrifying little things about the internet that every net citizen will have to simply deal with. Shouting for people to change on one forum won't accomplish anything, other than getting it off your chest, I suppose.
The internet is filled with perverts, no doubt, but I'd say that is just a trait of humanity; we're a bunch of randy sods at varying degrees of weirdness. You don't have to see it if you don't want to, however, so there's also that.

Plus, FurAffinity is... What it is. That site's commitment to allow anyone in, reguardless of personal skill or particular taste, does have a few side effects. These are the sort of things you will just have to prepare to glance if you go trawling in those waters with the filters off. They do, thankfully, have some limits, but they are certainly drawn wll beyond the comfort zones of most people.

In short; I agree, everything is not sexy, but anything will be sexy to someone out there, and there's not really anything we can do about that. Remember that no one shoves your face into the monitor and forces you to watch things you don't like.

You could always, I dunno, not go to Deviantart and Furaffinity. I'd say the names should be some sort of indicator.
Believe it or not, the deviant in deviant art refers to computer modders =D This is actual truth. Its original form was for people who took computer applications and "deviated" them in some form. Skins were popular and overtime it changed from general skinning and towards art.

But they do have a content filter so if it bothers you, just turn it on. Some parts of the internet are weird places and its best to just pretend they don't exist

Well... themoreyouknow.jpg

But as an aspiring writer, that's not the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the terms "deviant" and "art" mashed together. :D

why don't you a##holes make a sexy pic of Jesus while your at it, then the circle will be complete! and I'm pretty sure someone already has..
a bunch of sex crazed freaks..
....

You know, several years ago, I stumbled across a set of Christian themed sex toys. Dildos, vibrators, butt-plugs, and the like all featuring Jesus, Mary, the Nativity in general, and even a little baby Jesus bullet vibe.

That is, dildos shaped to resemble Jesus et al. Like, a kneeling Jesus, not just a disembodied Jesus penis. More like one of those rabbit dildos, except that you'd insert Jesus' head into the vagina while his praying hands stimulated the clit. Stuff like that.

Since I have no interest in Jesus related anything, I mostly took note as a method for disturbing people. I don't have the link anymore, or I'd post it here for you, because I think that what you need is to either grow a sense of humor or stop yelling at people because you decided to look at something they drew and didn't like it.

Or, to put it another way - if you don't want to see the images on that website, then don't go to that website. And stop wasting our time complaining about it.

Oh my. My captcha is, I kid you not: "take it all"

Have you ever heard about the rules of the internet?
Rule #34 - There is porn of it, no exceptions.
That rule has even it's own website. Not for everyone, you have been warned. link [http://rule34.paheal.net/]

Ranting about won't solve anything. And there is porn of Jesus. Rule #34 is one of the few rules of the internet that are taken really seriously.
Read this rules and remember them if you plan on staying on the internet for a bit longer.

Mad ranting aside, I kind of agree with the OP. Sexuality is a broad spectrum and that's fine; but when you have people attracted to animals, buildings and other inanimate objects then one can't help but feel that our society is more than a little debased.
