It may take a while to type up in detail, per se, but the "long story short" of it was that I was a Panel Room Supervisor[footnote]Someone who oversaw a specified panel room to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time both on, off, and around the stage for both special guest, convention attendees, and the volunteers in both tech and safety that would occasionally report to me if, for example, they needed assistance...[/footnote]throughout most of the convention and the other times was basically me walking around the convention either having fun during my off-time or helping out fellow convention attendees with directions, for example, if they came up to me due to wearing a staff shirt, which I got to keep afterwards...
Well, the only [actual] technical thing I did was test out all of the mics before the convention even started and to make sure than all of the gaming equipment was moved to the designated "Gaming Room"... Everything else, Panel Room Supervisor-related, was mostly me running/walking around with a clipboard/whiteboard as a means to communicate with the other volunteers, special guest, and panel moderators... outside of quiet vocal communication backstage...
