*Obligatory Inception BWONG Sound goes here*
You mean the entire brass section farting into their instruments? JK, poor joke
Though I'd agree the exclusion of key personnel in production was noticeable. (Lauren Faust leaving)
I take from it what I want and ignore or avoid what displeases me. Like everyone does.
And as my first year of liking the show starts to close in, I find myself fondly reminiscent of the times where this plague of childish be-foolery slowly crept in, viewed as an intellectual threat. I thought it impossible to fall as such as so many had.But with publicity so far spread across the web; my internal curiosity became overwhelming. I would watch it, pick it apart for the petty entertainment it was.
The fight turned out to be un-winnable. Cynicism and low expectations were quickly being subverted by a growing likeness. And it felt fun. I was running through the woods, evading enemy capture, narrowly darting past spotlights, duping patrols by hunkering in bushes. Slashing tires and breaking fuel lines to slow their advance. But more and more troops would arrive, patrols would become smarter, more tactful. They boxed me in, encircling me in a shallow valley. Surrounded on all sides soldiers closing in from every direction, I only had one choice to evade capture... I pulled the grenade from my pocket, pulling the pin I held the handle firmly. My eyes closed, I waited for the footsteps to get as close as possible before letting my grip slip.
Through my infinite misfortune the grenade was a dud. I was taken to their camp, and introduced... holy crap did I get off topic.
