The group heads down the park way, the possesed don't seem to notice them and just continue walking in their zombie-like trance. Suddenly, Nick steps on a twig, and a nearby Possesed hears it! It's eyes turn from silvery to shiny black, it's spine grows into spikes and rips through it's flesh, it's teeth turn razor sharp, it ggrows claws and gets on all fours, and then twists it's head upside down with a horrible CRACK thhat the others don't seem to notice. It licks it's lips with it's now long, reptilian tounge and charges for the group.
"CRAP!" said Cedric softly. What do we do now?!

"Nick here! Take my cleaver!" Cedric throws Nick the Large butcher knife. Nick catches it immediatly and chops the beast's head off
"SHHHUSH! we don't want any more coming for us. get my knife out of that thing, we can't afford to lose it."
The group continues across the field, more careful this time, and manages not to attract the attention of anymore of the Possesed. they make it to the end of the park, they can see the gas station, and the bikes!

"I don't think it'll be that easy Luke, we don't know if there are Possesed there. but the convenience store would have some food. We'll have to make a choice, check the store for food then leave, or just get the bikes and get as far as we can now."
