I'm a Man U fan and thus I lol'd heartily at both the analogy and the misery of Liverpool fans.
Sadness: me.
Aww c'mon, you guys had more or less the entirety of the 70's and 80's to gloat, now it's our turn. (I'm only kidding around btw, it's all good fun :p)
the moment of intrigue piqued by a tiff about sports reasonably resolved.

I wish we were THIS hospitable about sports in America.
Actually, I haven't got a response so in theory he could still be pissed at me ;). I doubt it of course, but really people aren't very civil about sports in general when it comes to the UK. Particularly over football some people take it way too far with physical and verbal abuse getting hurled around at the opposing fans. Their's friendly ribbing that goes on too, so really it just comes down to the person. If they're normally a total dick, then they're definately going to be much more of a total dick when it comes to sports.

Cynicism: This thread, apparently.

Regret: Wishing you could change the past so that you had started a relationship with your best friend, consequences be damned.

Oh no, the sadness wasn't about the football, I'm a Fulham fan... and my name is Akhos!

And must ask: where do you hail from? (Sorry, needling you regarding Man U fans = not from Manchester.)

What do you get a Man U fan for Christmas? A map of Manchester. Yeah, I'm actually from Somerset, more specifically Bath (my profile just says where I am during Uni terms). The closest team who I suppose I 'should' be supporting would therefore be Bristol City/Rovers but most people end up supporting someone totally unrelated to their location and somehow I ended up supporting Man U, from an early age so I don't really remember how. I'm actually, going to Old Trafford tommorow to see Paul Scholes' testimonial which should be fun :D.

Tl;Dr: I'm from Bath.

I support (won't say I'm a fan of) Man U, back from when I used to live in Altrincham. It was great at the start of the season. Saturday, watch the footie, then on the Sunday, watch the cricket down the road.

Anyway, I'll probably be going to Old Trafford when Giggs finally decides to hang up his boots.

Still, well worn joke, and it may as well apply to Chelsea as well, yeah, Chelsea isn't in Chelsea, it's in Fulham! It's already a small enough London borough without them clogging it up.

Happiness.

A feeling no Liverpool supporter has felt for years.
More like a feeling no Liverpudlian has felt for years.

Anger: When you're fairly sure that if you're loud enough you can patsy blame onto someone else.
