But seriously its always going to be the case that games such as just dance will sell better, because they are on the wii and because they don't involve contraversial murder and all things mothers fear.

And I doubt that there are many if any of the Just Dance market in the escapist forums.

If you're talking about the fact that there are plenty of Wii games on there, leave this forum and never come back. I hate Wii-bashers with a passion, I have played on my mother's Wii and absoutely love the console. I realy enjoy playing so-called 'casual' games. And yet I consider myself to be a hardcore gamer.

If you're talking about the fact that Just Dance is at the top, then I forgive you. And I have no idea why it's there. I played when I was home this weekend as my mother had it for her birthday And it sucks donkey balls. I immediately switched to Wii Sports Resort (100-pin bowling FTW!).

Seriously though, it's always the case that some of the Nintendo stuff will overshadow even the best games out there. I remember when Metroid: Prime won game of the year... what foolishness.

It's because some people have severe mental difficulties and Just [want to] Dance. They can do their mambo all they like while their sanity sits in a lone corner of their skull festering and dribbling. I really don't get why anyone would want that game let alone pay money for it. I just don't understand.

The British have fallen prey to casual games recently. Bored housewives are not the only ones who play casual games, remember. Some, in fact many, of the British gaming community have taken to the Family-based games, such as MArio and Sonic at the Olympic thing. There are also many people who own Wiis. It's sad actually, how many parents would buy some stupid, large, white brick for their twichting overgrown spermotezoa every time they pass one in the supermarket.
Plus, you can't watch an entire T.V. show without seeing a commercial for things like Wii Fit or New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
