Every day we are surrounded by things like: "It could have been worse" and "the grass is always greener on the other side". These are okay if somewhat cliched.
But sometimes we find ourselves wanting to rip peoples' lungs out with rage when they utter things like "Love conquers all" or "I'm high on life!".

Which expressions/sayings/quotes makes you feel like going on a murderous rampage?

This is more stupidity but the use of the word addicting pisses me off.
Also " a bad workman blames his tools" pisses me off to no extent.

Oooh, "I'm high on life" annoys me, as does any office speak that means absolutely nothing, like "think outside the box" and "the view from 1000 feet", that sort of stuff.

"Life is like a box of chocolates..."

Really, people, can't think of something else that might be funny?

"Don't worry, be happy."

Call me a pessimist if you want, but THIS IS BLOODY RETARDED!!! Worrying is GOOD! If our ancestors hadn't worried about the big kitty with the long pointy teeth being potentially dangerous WE WOULDN'T FUCKING EXIST! Worrying about stuff is a mechanism that helps you avoid making mistakes!

I'm really sick of alot of the Australian cliched sayings. I've never met anyone who says that crap unless they're mocking it themselves. The only one that I do hear is G'day... (shudders)

"Just because [something] doesn't mean [something]!"
You can say "The fact that [something] doesn't mean [something]!" and maybe you can say that "Just because [something] you can't [something]!" but saying, for instance, "Just because you didn't like Episode One doesn't mean all Star Wars movies are bad!" doesn't make a bit of sense.

'At the end of the day'. God this pisses me off, especially when people seem to get stuck in an endless loop and add it into every sentence they say afterwards until I batter them with a 2x4...

You wouldn't like Daniel Kayser in "EpicBattleCry". I don't see how anyone could but...

"Look on the bright side" makes me want to tear people's limbs off.

WHAT IS BRIGHT ABOUT NOT GETTING INTO THE BASKETBALL SQUAD?

Oooh.
No wonder you didn't talk to me much at Escapism.
I was being silly, just so you know.

For me, it is using "random" as an adjective.
You are misusing that word, dammit!

I hate the "Oh my god" to the point where I want to punch said person who said it in the face. There's a few others but it's mostly that one.

I hate when people say 'epic fail' or '/thread' on the internet. It just sounds so obnoxious to me, I can't stand it.

When people refer to something as "Back in the day..." when the time they are referring to was only a year or two ago or even a couple months ago.
