One of my exes stalked me like an animal, and stalked anyone they thought I was gonna date for over a year. You should just be happy her ex isn't like that.

Same here. Eventually, when I had a new man, I had posted enough pictures of us looking happy and statements about how much I loved him so that the ex eventually dropped off. He still drops me the occasional line even though I told him to stay away from me. Creepy.

I know this sort of example. My mate was basically that ex, and he'd always go on about his ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend, and how much he hates him. He'd keep in contact with his ex constantly, and meeting up every so often. I always thought my mate was being a dick for this, and his ex even worse, because it seems she just wants both relationships.

If this was happening to me I'd want to confront her about it, and chances are it'd be a breakup. Either she cuts the ex go, or you can find a better girlfriend.

Don't let this stand. Make it clear that you won't take the guy's attitude. Since she says she hates him and you already hate the guy, it really makes no sense you'd have to deal with the ex.

It sounds like the ex himself is pushing your GF into this awkward situation, and she's too weak to say no. If that's the case, you could make it stop, as a joint decision.
