How many hours have you willingly slept, at one time, without fainting or getting knocked out by any physical blow or drug, in memory, not something someone told you that you did? I recently made a new personal record of 14 hours.

I.. wouldn't have a clue. Insomnia has cut back on many of the hours I can actually spend sleeping, though I've found some fun ways to counter that. Maybe 10 hours.

15 hours. I shouldn't count it, though. I had the mumps. Other than that, 12 hours.

17 hours. I flew from Hawaii To New Jersey, which took about 24 hours, and then stayed up for another 36 before finally going to sleep. Needless to say, i was exhausted

About 12 hours. I usually under sleep so i have never had massive sleeps. Even that was amazingly long for me. 10 hours on weekends/holidays and about 6 on weekdays.

I think my record is 21.5 hours. I wasn't sick. But it was summer vacation. And I was having an attack of "I just realized that I have not done anything of any worth and probably never will" that I get every now and then. So I slept to stave off depression.

I once stayed up for three days, using no-doz, coffee, and pure willpower. I think I slept 18 hours after that. Although I am proud of that I'm certain that someone here has had mononucleosis and is laughing at us all.

Please explain the fancy disease name. I'm not that smart.

Wow. I must say I'm surprised. People here seem to think 12 hours of sleep is exorbitant, I get that regularly.

My record is 26 hours of continuous sleep. I wasn't sick or anything, just tired.

In all fairness though, my sleep schedule is entirely fucked up. I operate on a 32 hour sysytem. I like to be up for about 22 hours and sleep for 10 hours. Apparently my internal clock isn't aware it's on earth.

16 hours, but I was sick, does that still count?

I think my longest without being sick was 14 hours.

I think my longest was about 10-11 hours, not exactly sure - just exhausted from an allnighter. Not sure if I would be able to sleep 12+, feels like I'm wasting time, so usually I end up sleeping about 8.

Haven't had more than 5 hours sleep a night since I was a little kiddliewink, but I did crash out for almost 24 hours once after a week long LAN when i was at uni. 7 days of networked doom, carmageddon, and diablo. I kinda miss study week.

mononucleosis is a disease you can get through saliva(kissing, usually)
It makes you extremely tired.

My record is 28 hours and about 45 minutes. I have a strane immune system, when I get sick I shut down for about a day and a half, and then I'm fine.

I suppose 12 hours would be my record, though it's not 'knocked out cold for 12 hours'; more like I'll go to bed at 10p.m., wake up at 8a.m. (bloody internal clock and infernal school) go back to sleep moments later, and then wake up, only realising I've slept an extra 2 hours.

I can do this because it's the holidays, and I never do anything for my holidays.
