What happened to Extra Credit. I was on vacation for a couple of weeks and I came back to one of my favorite shows being gone. What happened?

Wow thats pretty out of the loops! So much happened.

Basically the escapist don't pay people who do work for them, and Extra Creditz guys find that business practice somewhat disagreeable, also the Escapist wanted to steal from their charity which is also objectionable.

Steal from their charity? As I read in the thread, after they got enough for Allison's surgery The Escapist wanted to use the money to keep Extra Credits going, and then one of the other two guys wanted to use the money to start up some business...which is also objectionable.

They took the extra money and started a non-profit charity fund for indie games. They even offered money back to those who didn't want their donated money to go to said charity fund. It wasn't to start a business.

Must have missed that update. My mistake.

Oh man don't apologize. It got really confusing, messy, and ugly there. No foul for not keeping up on it.

Yeah, I wish they'd both laid everything out from the start...

There was a money issue; search for the 1600 reply thread to get more details, because I'm too lazy to explain it for the millionth time.

Sorry if I sound cranky, it is just that everyone and their grandma has asked what happened to EC without doing some searching.

Yes, what happened to Extra Credits? And why all the Pony/Call of Duty/Playstation/Halo/James Cameron/Twilight hate? And what would you do if you woke up in the morning to find that your penis was now the villain in the last game you played?

Wow. I'd actually create that last one if I didn't feel it would get me banned.

Feel free to address this question, anyone: what would you do if you awoke to find that your Penis had become Aries, God of War?
