So yeah... Extra Creditz have moved to PATV. As of next week all of their videos and such will be posted there. So if there were any fans here still in the dark about where the show went, now you know.

Well, depending on your point of view, they're saving them. Not to disparage anyone involved in the EC fiasco or the ENN departure or anything, I'm just glad the shows have gotten picked up again so that fans can reliably get their fill, albeit on a different site.

Amazingly, I'm not too fussed. Sure, EC is great, interesting and all that, but I couldn't tell you anything I learned from it. So: Feh. Marvellous story sir.
Of course, maybe I just wasn't watching intently, without daring to blink in case I missed some holy commandment which would have made my life complete or something.

Also, how have I not noticed that annoying Z on the end of it?

Extra credits and the escapist had a falling out over the money donated for Allison's surgery and the escapist almost went into complete anarchy. this thread should help explain it.

Long Story short EC claimed Escapist owed them money and they wanted either money or their IP rights Escapist claimed they had sorted it all and so should get to keep the IP rights and also that EC owed "them" money instead.

Lots of back and forth and whinging on both sides and ultimately they've parted ways.

Search it and there's one or two decent threads summing it all up though you have to deal with far too many comments from escapists claiming that either EC or Escapist deserves all sympathy.

I have gone off EC. I have only been watching them for three months so I am not too attached. However while I am neither too attached to Escapist. I felt that the bad issues while legitamite that Escapist wasnt level or clear. The EC way of acting didnt at all seem the level headed voice the videos paint. So with that I dont feel their voice has any credit.

The Indie fund part seemed very off colur be it Escapist pawing at the money or not. The use of the Rocket Hub money and how long they kept it going fter they hut their target. Never sat well with me.

As I understand it, it boiled down to what to do with the spare money in the RocketHub. EC wanted to do the indie fund as detailed in this week's video, The Escapist wanted it to fund episodes of Extra Credits. Also it seems that they wanted a slice of the fund as well.

Well that's 2 of the 3 shows I would follow wherever they go. All they have to do is bring Top 5 to PATV and It'll get as much of my traffic as the Escapist.

I knew it! As soon as they said they had a new publisher ready I just knew that it'd be PA, in the vain of Checkpoint. While I'd love for them to still be here at the Escapist, at least it's something.
