Brown (all shades, including black) eyes are dominant, and hence most common.
Blue are recessive to brown.
True green is recessive to blue.
And there you go.
OT: My eyes appear dark blue from a distance. Up close there is an very dark ring around the edge. The inside is a multitude of blue flecks, ranging form practically black to practically white. I also have a greenish/brownish smudge/spot on my right eye sitting on the top left of my pupil, it's usually not visible because of my eyelid.

What would you say if i told you my eyes were bright red in colour with a tinge of green?
Well, they arent any more, but once they were. Something to do with the blood vessels (i was too young to know exactly what was wrong) but it took a few months for them to return to normal.
