The best way I can summerize E.Y.E. is that is' like Deus Ex, but it just does not give a fuck. For better or worse.
This leads to some really ridiculous and amazing gameplay moments, especially if you're playing the 32(!) person multiplayer but... it just doesn't give a damn about you. And the multiplayer? It's not deathmatch. It's co-op. 32 player co-op on Deus-Ex sized levels. You can also kill and hack others with immunity. And by hack I mean actually gain control of other player's characters and control them or make them explode on the spot. But be careful, if you fail at hacking them (or anything in the game), they will hack you back. This leads to situations where you try to hack a door, fail, and the door hacks you. You then need to hack yourself to kill the hack that the door put into you. It's as insane and broken and surreal and strangely amazing as it sounds. You can really do it all. This isn't touching on the fact that if you don't have enough skills in certain areas your character can become too scared to fire their own weapon. Also all the psychic/tech powers you can get. You start the game able to spawn three clones of yourself.
Because E.Y.E. just does not give a fuck.
It can be really off-putting, but I just love that something like it exists. Here's [http://www.destructoid.com/review-e-y-e-divine-cybermancy-208834.phtml] a review of it if anyone's interested.
