Guess what OP, none of those things are true. Eyes don't tell you anything about a person AT ALL.
Good thing you read all my post.

Otherwise, you might have seen me say, at least twice, that when people say those things, they're talking about the eye, the eye socket, and the brow. They say eyes for short.

So, yeah, thank God you read everything. Wouldn't you look silly otherwise?

I have some red scarring on my left eye, I think it sort of freaks people out. I'm not really sure how to post my pictures here other than photobucket or something and I don't really feel like doing that anyways. My eyes are light brown btw.
Can I convince you? Sounds interesting. I'd like to see that.
I wouldn't expect people to respond to your thread reading the entirety of it. I read ALL of your first post. You didn't specify what you meant by "eye" in your first post.

"When people refer to the eyes as 'windows to the soul,' they're usually referring to the eye, the eye socket, and the brow."

Since when?

Other peoples eyes I tend to like in all honesty. Not such a big fan of my own though seeing as how I need glasses to see through them properly

Eh, dark blue. It's hard to find a perfectly color balanced image, but this is the closest I could get.

People enjoy telling me that I look tired.

I don't have a particular appreciation for eyes. They're OK, but all those poetic devices used to describe them kind of fall flat for me.

I do kind of like my own eyes when I've stared into a mirror to see them. They're a sort of army green colour; not quite hazel though, I don't think. Anyway, they look like some sort of landscape, with grassy knolls, hills and rocky crags. Very earthy.

No make up (ew, freckles) and yes, that is a towel on my head. I've just had a shower. And by "just" I mean about 45 minutes ago.
Apologies of crap quality, it was taken with my phone under harsh light. I'm not high or anything.
Edit: Holy carp, now I know why I wear mascara. Silly, short eyelashes, ew ew ew >.<
Edit 2: Why does everyone else have blue eyes!? So not fair.

Nice. That's an unusual shade of brown.

Picture quality isn't too bad. I can see the difference between the main brown and the slightly light shades that spoke out.

...

You should also know I'm about to explode. I'm trying so hard not to make shower comments.

I've never been too enamoured with eyes; probably due to my disinclination towards persistent eye-contact. Hands and hair fulfill that expressive purpose as far as I'm concerned [not actively expressive, in the case of hair]. My eyes are grey-blue, which I've always thought was a bit wishy-washy. I guess they're okay, not that I'm overly concerned about the subject.

I always notice nice eyes first. As a photographer, eyes are the most important part of a portrait, they have to be sharp.

Plus, you can do cool things with them!

Would you believe my eyes used to be so dark they were almost black?
They've been getting gradually lighter. Although I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing, at the the rate they're going, they should be a lovely golden colour by the time I'm 30.

Oh, don't explode, you'll make a mess, hehe.

Now, THAT is a gorgeous eye.

One of the neat things about light colored eyes is you can see so much more inner detail.

I just want to pop that thing out and keep it (But I wont).

Lately I've been wondering what subtle differences around the eyes really express. It makes me a little paranoid sometimes about what people think I'm feeling. I might post pictures later, but I have blue eyes like most of the people who posted, so it's nothing really unusual.

A uniform change of color across the entire eye is no problem, especially if your young.

Now, if you start developing rings around the iris (Or pupal), or odd dots, that could be a problem.

EDIT: As for the exploding... I'll risk it. I'm trying to be more decent on the forums.

It was a hangover day. Seriously, never mix Jaegermeister with Gordons gin!
Ah, been there. Drive on, you drunkard.

Hee ^_^ Thank you!

However, I would rather keep both eyes in place, please :3 They're a little tricky to put back in, you see.
