F:NV keeps crashing!

I bought fallout new vegas ultimate edition and at first it was fine but now, even with all the patches it still keeps crashing. I have little other problems but the game keeps crashing. Is there a solution to stop the game from crashing? I'm playing on the 360 by the way. It has been weeks since I actually exited the game by turning off the xbox and not by me having to unplug the xbox due to the game crashing!

Well do other games crash often on your 360?
If yes, then its obvious that your 360 may be having issues. Is it in a well ventilated(open) spot where it wont overheat?.

If other games work fine on the 360, then try taking your copy of NV back to where you bought it and see if you can have it replaced.

Hope you get this issue resolved. NV is a fantastic game.

EDIT: I see you had the game for "weeks," hopefully it hasn't been too long to return it.

Fallout games are well known to crash in many places in the game for little to know reason, especially on consoles. Not much you can do about besides sticking it out and trying to play the game or taking it back and getting another game. I have New Vegas, I know your pain.

I know your problem. PS3 version gets a lot of slow down and freezing as well. I thing there is a way to purge the game's cache, I know there was on Fallout 3. Best advice, save often and keep all auto save options on.

Cache clearing (system menu, storage options AFAIK), run a vacuum nozzle over your xbox's vents.

Other than waiting for a patch and what everyone above me has said? I got nothing. Good luck though. I also have the Ultimate Edition, tis ultimate indeed.
