So.
I played my pre-ordered Dragon Age 2. So many things about it that enraged me, but I kept playing, I just concentrated on the pretty animations and looked away when the enemies did the corpse explosion thing.
Then. Sidequest. *Spoiler*

At the mine you can choose to protect, 3rd or 4th Mission there, you get to fight a Dragon. The Real thing. Fight a DRAGON. In DRAGON Age. Surely the developers had put some effort into this fight. This would be awesome. It had to be. So I step on the field, he shows up. My redhaired Lady-Tank (forgot her name) took the beating, I had a Meele with a two-Hander behind the dragon, a healer, and a this dwarf with the crossbow (ok, I forgot all the names, blah).

Well, first seconds in the fight went as I expected. Then the dragon started "dancing". Turning to my Melee, not hitting him, turning to my Tank, not hitting her, turning to the Melee, Tank, Melee, Tank, and so on. At this point I shook my head in disappointement.
"Well", I said to myself "let's get this over with and go on"
And then it happened.
Dragon flew away on his cliff, unattackable. AND MINION WAVES SPAWN. MINION WAVES! THOSE F.CKING GENERIC MINION WAVES THE WHOLE GAME THREW AT ME LIKE IT WAS SPECIAL CANDY. I was like "ok, you don't wanna be serious about your game, go eff yourself, Bioware. If fighting a DRAGON in DRAGON AGE is as shitty as the rest of the game, you don't care anyways, so why should I?"

Uninstalled, will never pre-order any Bioware game again. Never looked back.

I was never one for competitive multiplayer, so I normally play League of Legends vs bots, once I get better I'll probably go to ranked matches, but I digress, every single time I go in a lane against Annie Bot I say fuck this game, her special character ability is after she does 5 abilities, her next ability adds a stun effect, there is no way in hell that the bot isn't cheating on that one, it seems like every single time I move to engage her she just throws a stun at me, makes me rage every time.
Why would you go from bots to ranked instead of just normal games? People care more about their ranked elo than their normal game stats. Ive only played one Co-op AI game and I picked Karthus and ended up laning against annie. With Karthus's Q range you can hit her without taking any damage. You hit her once and she predictably runs at you allowing you to place Q's infront of her and then she runs away allowing you to place them behind her. Playing champions with less range would be more challanging but early game runes should allow you to trade blows with her (without stun).
I didn't know there was a difference between ranked and normal, and Karthus is very expensive so I never use him, I didn't know there was an anti stun rune though so I'll look for those

Dr. Mario vs the CPU.

Every time that jingle hit that he had cleared two rows in one go you just knew that bastard was gonna clog up your own hard work. After he blocks off 3-4 of my 1-from-finished rows 8 times in a row i rage quit.

It might sound trivial, but this happens EVERY. FUCKING. TIME! O.e

The Last Remnant... when one of my teams barely survives a super attack and the only available options are "Fight to the last man" and "sit still and do nothing" instead of "heal yourselves" or "revive fallen team" SOOOOO frustrating!
This. Oh god this, so many times over. Every turn of every battle is such pot luck as to whether or not the computer will let you do what you told your units to do or even give you the commands you need. I never made it past disc 1. I'm sure I will these days out of sheer bloody mindedness, but that day is a long way aways.

There aren't any anti stun runes, I just meant that flat magic resist and health regen quints make the laning phase alot easier.

Pretty much everytime someone kills me in a Mulitplayer FPS and I didn't want to die, which is generally all the time. Bonus rage points if the same person keeps killing me or they're using a tactic I consider cheap. TF2 is probably the first multiplayer FPS I can play in complete silence and I don't know why I'm somehow only able to control my rage with it.

Monster Hunter

I'll get in a group, have them all die on me, then they blame me for not doing anything to help them
a. I can't heal you when i'm getting stomped on by a dragon.
b. why would you bring armor that has terrible fire resistance?
c. fuck this noise. I'm booting up battlefront 2.

Everytime the camera "helpfully" repositions itself to give you a clue to where you should go next in Asassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood. Thanks game, but I really can find me own way out of the templar lairs without you help, which costs me a jump to nowhere and I nice arrival at the first floor.
This. I recently stopped playing Brotherhood 'cause I couldn't deal with accidental deaths at the end of lvls when stupid camera reposition resulted in me missing the ledge and diving headfirst into the floor.

Also, there was this game-shattering bug at the end of Chapter 9 in Dead Space where missing power cell prevented me from progressing any further. No saves at previous chapters, no way of replaying that one, fuck you Dead Space and fuck you Visceral games.

I think my concept of frustrating is gonna change next week when my copy of Demon's Souls arrives.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay's autosave that is making me start the game with only one health box. The next room has a mech and a guard which spot me once I enter said room. There are no other saves. I was able to kill the guard by assaulting him with a club, but the mech takes more hits than that.

Mortal Kombat 9's Challenge Tower, level 251: Shang Tsung vs. Baraka, Sindel, and Shao Kahn

I'm horrible with Shang Tsung, and Shao Kahn spams so hard. I've gotten close to completing the level, but he threw the hammer at me and I accidentally jumped back instead of forward. Now I have to start over because I changed hard drives and the save files didn't transfer.

Deus Ex: HR made me hate bosses all over again. I have only fought against the first guy, because the game runs like a cheetah without any legs on my Rig. But yeah, I am stealth-ing it up for my current run and am also going for the no killing achievement. Therefore, the only weapons that I had were a pistol and a revolver. I don't know how many times I replayed that boss fight. But I do know that it was properly about the right amount of time for a man to start questioning his life choices. I did beat him after, so this isn't really a Fuck you game moment, but the only reason that I did beat him was because he shot one of those little red barrels while trying to shoot me and blew himself up. Jerk.

Bought Dead Island. Played it sporadically for a week while not at college or anything. Spent a long time meticulously playing through the first act, liking the visceral first-person melee and interesting, beautiful locations of the resort.

Reach Act 2. Get bogged down in generic ruined cityscape and sprawling sewers. Notice that all indoor sections, such as the massively copy-pasted and thorougly confusing sewers levels don't appear on the pause menu's map. Notice that the mini-map's pathfinding is awful, frequently directing me through impassible obstacles or even in the straight up wrong direction. Disheartened.

Continue Act 2. Find myself being put through multiple missions where I'm made to fight looters instead of zombies. Notice that looters have guns and break the melee-oriented flow horribly. Steal gun. Notice that guns physics are awful and that all pistols jerk uncontrollably when iron-sighted, meaning I have to use a revolver with vastly inferior stats. Get killed lots as a result.

Find self sick of fighting looters over and over again, tired of same 3 character models coming at me for missions on end. Finally reach zombie portion, get excited. Zombie shambles up to me, moaning and hunchbacked. Zombie stops about 10 yards away, suddely straightens up and produces a machete. Zombie throws machete at me, a moving target, with ninja-like accuracy. Get insta-killed by flying machete. Much rage ensues.

Reach Act 3. Notice that pathfinding in jungle levels is even worse, and that going off the path in this "open-world" game leads very quickly to being coralled by invisible walls. Grudgingly stick to linear path. Hardly any zombies in the jungle. Not pleased. Hardly any looters either. Wonder if this is good sign, portent of impending return to melee combat against zombies. Cross fingers.

Continue main quest. Have to fight more humans. Notice they aren't pistol wielding looters. Intrigued. Notice that they're guerrilla fighters with molotovs, AK47s and shotguns. Notice that there's now about 1 zombie to every 10 of these guys. Rage.

Continue playing. Find self driving a jeep about the jungle in first person. Find inventory full of assault rifles instead of melee weapons. Notice that I'm repeatedly driving back and forth in slightly different coloured jeeps between copy-pasted villages and jungle outposts to kill generic guerrilla fighters who notice me coming miles away.

Wonder if I blacked out and someone switched the disc to Far Cry 2 when I wasn't looking.

Turn game off, don't play for several days. Complain about on internet. Fuck you, Dead Island.

Yeah....seriously, Seymour in FFX is a pushover. I've played through the game multiple times and I only ever died to him like once.

Nemesis, Shinryu, and Penance, now THOSE are bosses worth rage-quitting on :p
