I need some help with the endgame of Fable 3. See spoiler below.

When you need to amass the 6,500,000 to fight off the Crawler as King, it's easy to do it by being evil and doing the horrible options, but how can you possibly amass 6,500,000 while taking the good morality options since they drain your Royal Treasury so much? And it's insanely difficult to amass 6,500,000 by yourself in your own personal stockpile without setting all your house rent prices at maximum, which makes people hate you.

So how exactly is it possible to be as morally good as possible, but still get the full 6,500,000 to protect your citizens?

If anyone's managed it and knows how, please help.

You have to have had all the money in your personal treasury then transfer it, stupid as fuck i know i just wanted there to be an option to tell everyone to fuck off and wait,or you can go severely in debt everyone will love you but they will hate you for letting them die

Easiest thing to do is property monger everything and set it on normal. Then just go do shit not involving the story

Transfer your personal treasury.

Also: If you make all the evil choices, (and transfer no money) you'll have about 4 million in the end.

There are moments where you get choose to put the money in the treasury or add in to your personal wealth...

I spose if I do transfer my personal treasury, I'll be able to get that key in the sanctuary at last.

You don't *need* to have the full amount as far as i know, i think i came short by about 1mill when i got at the fight. The only reason you'd need to have the full amount is for the achievement i think

You probably could, but you'll have to wait around for money to accrue. Also, if you want to just choose the good options you're going to need a lot more than 6.5m due to expenditure.

On my second playthrough I invested my money as soon as possible and right before the end game I had just over 5m cash with 90k ever 5 minutes, so I still had to choose a few 'bad' choices and sell a couple of businesses to mass the required amount. Despite the few negative choices I made, the good ones outweighed them and I was still seen as a benevolent leader.

It took me ages, but I managed to get like 9 million or so.

Just work your ass off doing a job (blacksmithing seems the most efficient- rank 5 of course)
Get enough money to buy shops- pawnbrokers are the best but cost a lot. Keep doing this until you have several shops and houses under your belt. Then just keep working for solid cash, and every 5 minutes you'll get a good few thousand gold. Then keep buying more property.

I got up to about 90,000 gold every 5 minutes, plus constant 10 multiplyer (bs) for 3000 gold each sword.. Took me a few days, but finally got my 9 million, AFTER all of the ridiculously stupidly expensive 'good' options when you are King.. This game is so 1-sided

It took me a while but I managed it on my first run.
I just bought all the property then mucked around, eventally got the key then transferred it all to the treasury and grabbed the chest.

The treasury still has about 1mil in it right now actually and i've amassed another 10mil.

The whole thing has just made me wish there was a repair all button though...

I bought all property and business, set all decent earning business (pubs, pawnbrokers etc) to highest possible prices, put the small stalls and things to lowest possible to balance it out a bit. Then put all houses to 'high' rent (apart from in millfields properties or other potentially high earners).

If you're gonna make all the good choices, you shouldn't worry about having high prices/rent. Because when I'd got to the last day (121 days left or something), I simply worked away until I had about 10 million saved up, transferred it all in, and lowered down all the prices again. People adore you for it.

As others said, you have to donate the money in yourself. I ended up having to leave the console on the final day before I entered the portal just to earn enough money from real estate due to not realising 121 days to go actually meant, 1 day to go.

Yeah, it is with the power of absolute monarchy real estate! Transfer it all into the treasury before time is up. Alsoooooo you will still get the "Tough Love" achievement which is the evil one.

That's the whole point! Will you be good and risk destruction? Or a total tyrant but ensure success? What would a person do in that situation?

It's straight up bullshit at the end. It feels as though they were running out of coke to sniff and said, "Hey let's give them a good or bad choice for the player's ending."

"Great idea Bob! We'll have the player make choices on good and bad things as a monarch; because running a country is always black and white. I want you to come up with choices in which the player must choose on how to be a dick. We'll reward them for being a dick and allowing the villagers to suffer but saving their lives in the end, or we'll allow them to be a dick by easing their suffering but might die."

"But hey you two, aren't these just Ethical Dilemmas and not Moral Dilemmas? Why are we tying 'right vs wrong' to decisions that are clearly 'right vs right?'"

"John, your fired for being Mr Captain Obvious. We don't want to really 'work', we just want to be able to get paid to get our next coke fix before the Fable II money dries up altogether. Oh, and we'll ignore this absurdity for a third reward even though we give the the player the ability to donate $30 million of their own money to not only ease the villagers suffering and rebuild after the take over, but keep everyone alive as well."

Peter, you don't spew promises out for an expected release date for Q4 in Q1 - where you should be close to starting the polish process - and then not deliver them. I swear, all these promises he was making in FEBRUARY must have been on a delivery truck that was hit by terrorists, and we're left with the survivors who are now barely able to make their way through Physical Therapy.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Oh god, I love Fable 3's end-game. Reaver, and trolling galore!

Even if you do every immoral choice to add the maximum amount of money, you still will not reach 6,500,000 gold. You will be somewhere around 1,200,000 gold short. I know, it's a shot to the nuts/ovaries, but that's how they done did it. I mean, if you DO reach the maximum amount, that means that EVERYONE survived what was supposed to be the apocalypse that actually happened.

Benevolent or evil choices aside as your time as king, it IS completely possible to save everyone, it just takes a lot of patience. You have two options, best combined:
-Real Estate
-Lute Hero

It's the only way.

Tell me how that works out for you.
