So. personally the second was a little bit shit. i really enjoyed the first but the second seemed like they didn't care for the story. Don't get me wrong it had a story but the pacing was terrible, the progression was linear, it was nothing like the first game. Yes it had improvements but the core of the game(a game that happens to be called "fable") should be the story! it should be a make-your-own-fable with arching plots and twists.

hopefully they've learnt from their mistakes and have stopped experimenting so the next one out will be half decent.

Fable 1 was okay, it had depth and an alright story, Fable 2 fucked all that and thought about adding a lot of stuff you "can" do, but with no real reward other then the feeling of it. the potential was there but to no avail, it died

trust me. skip fable 2. if fable 1 was one of your favourite games then prepare to have your relationship shattered.

if fable 1 was an adventurious blonde then fable 2 would be her (better looking) but far to talkative sister who doesn't shut up keeps showing you cosmetic shit that doesn't do anything and then when you finally] hop in bed its a lousy couple of minutes and the ending was unsatisfying.

I don't get it. When Fable 1 came out, everyone was all up at arms about how it didn't deliver on its promises. And yet when Fable 2 came out, everyone seemed to start raving about how amazing Fable 1 is.

The internet confuses me...

But I do agree that Fable 2's main quest sucked ass .

But the side quests were fun and interesting, and I enjoyed all the humor they put into all the item descriptions. But I'm probably the only one who cares, so whatever.

Edit: I think we should beat up and gag Petey Boy until it comes out this time so he doesn't go on about shit that isnt in the game at all and is all just hype.

I'm looking forawrd to Fable 3, as I am apparently in the minority of people who enjoyed both of the Fable games. I really hope they work on the role as king alot, as that was one of my only complaints with Fable 2: I want governmental power, dammit!

I didn't get to play Fable II but if I get enough cash, i'll probably get the first one on Games on Demand, and the second from an online retailer.

So I shall watch it when I get home. And I will then say what I think. Can't wait though.
