I enjoyed both Fables, but the points made against Fable 2 were pretty accurate. There was a lot of doing something for the sake of doing it, and were it not for Achievements I like would not have done a lot of those things.
My major gripe with Fable was that it basically forced you to become good in all 3 aspects of fighting... shooting, combat and magic. You couldn't just specialize in one form. The magic casting especially sucked since you had this horrible system for picking spells and then you had to charge them up.
