here Microsoft calls it a childs toy, and now try's to copy it. Yea that is hypocrisy.
Well the actual quote was this:
"We don?t feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing. We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14 they want something else."
And I don't really see that as an attack, so much as an observation.
I don't think anyone can deny that the Wii (Both the games and the console) is marketed more towards children and families. With a handful of M titles, and a massive slew of E games, it's pretty obvious who their target demographic is.
The Xbox 360, until recently, has not been marketed to families. It's been marketed to older, 'hardcore' gamers, with very little in the way of family, or child centered games. They were after a totally different demographic.
Now, with Natal, they look to expand into the younger kids/families market, and who can blame them?
Nintendo is making money hand over fist, and both Sony and Microsoft want a piece of that pie.
It just seems like you're angry for the sake of anger.
But, as I mentioned before, this
is the internet.
Weird.
