I've been playing Fable 3 for a couple of days now and I've run across a shitty bug.

I entered the Sanctuary and I couldn't interact with Jasper. He doesn't talk!
I'm wondering if this is game breaking, or if I can play the game without having to talk or interact with him?

That's a pretty bad bug that I've heard spoken of before. I think it's caused by co-op or something, because I stuck to singeplayer, and it didn't happen to me. I don't think it's gambreaking, but it is lame.

It sucks, but I suggest you delete your save and restart the game, if you want to hear Mr. Cleese waxing witty again. I think that works, but best check the official forums before you try.

Well, how far are you into the game? Once you've unlocked all the rooms you never have to interact with him for any reason, so its not the end of the world.

But as Gill said, Co-op is majorly glitchy in this game. My friend had to restart her entire save because of one very game breaking bug in the mission "The Game".

Oh, well alright then. I have all the rooms unlocked, I'm just wondering if he needs to give you any items later on in the game.

Also: "The Game" is the quest with those three guys who put you into a game to save a princess, right?

I'm pretty sure that's the quest that made Jasper mute.
[sub]I entered the Sanctuary during that quest...oops[/sub]

Yeah, thats the right quest. It seems to be a horribly glitched level, it caused me a few problems too.

Well, I'll try and continue playing without Jasper's voice. As long as it isn't a game breaking bug, I'll be fine.

Still, I always liked the way he commented on my outfit whenever I changed it...

I had this problem too, but a couple days ago I jumped back in the game after not touching it a while and there was a patch. After I installed, Jasper was talking almost non-stop when I was in the sanctuary. He basically was saying every line he missed. Like I had already beat the game and he made a comment about my character becoming queen, preparing for the final, and then congratulating me (all in the same siting). Maybe the patch fixes this?

Same thing happened to me. Atleast he's speaking again, was rather annoying to have him completely mute. I wonder how long it will be before I want him muted again, hah.

Yeah, Co-Op is very glitchy. I played through most of the game with a friend, and we encountered a tonne. From not being able to interact with anyone, to not being able to move at all. Endless load screens. Falling through the world. The list goes on. However, that said, we did that "The Game" quest, and we had nothing bad happen. What actually happened when you did it?

I believe this quest occurs when you've lost/given away all the weapons you can and then get a new one. It triggers the speech about rare weapons and breaks the game, this can occur doing coop but also at other time.
