The game didn't really resemble the original fable at all, other then the fact that it was set in albion. You need Gauntlets to cast spells know, swords are still in production even though it seems kinda pointless with all the revolver action rifles and pistols. But here's my list of things I didn;'t like
-Only 4 weapon types
-Clothing and Armor come up short
-Poorly designed characters. They looked sooo offfff
-Still the same problems with the buzzing population of soulless nobody's. Luckily you can kill them all.
-Gauntlet is needed for spells know.
-No mention of the hero's guild being rebuilt
-Final boss and level is horrible
-Last section feels rushed and boring
-Last level is fucking horrible
-Lack of good character custimization (spelling died right here
)
-Demon and Angel forms only show up when in melee or ranged super moves.
Parts I liked
-They finally got the world to feel huge and beautifull
-Spells and combat looked awsome, and played out well
-Demon and Angel forms look amazing beyond words
-The no menu system was intuitive and well done
Edit: oh also, the fact that the only way to save people and be good was to be buy and rent everything. That was just terribly lame, I didn't buy an action adventure game to buy pointless soul less houses. I don't mind the option, but I would like, say, maby a choice where I can fight, or train the troops my self, etc...
