What do you think: I told a friend of mine (not a really close one), that I had a code for the
Vindictus Beta sneak peek thingy (I got it through the Escapist). *Side Note: In case you didn't
know, Vindictus is a Nexon MMO. I couldn't use it because I have a mac, but I thought it would
be cool to get one anyway and give it away. My friend, let's call him J, really wanted to play
Vindictus, and I spoke to him about it at a Robotics meeting we both went to, two days ago, and
so I told him I would text it to him, once I got home, and saw what the code was, because I had
copied it to my clipboard. I also told him, check on escapistmagazine.com if you want a code,
just in case something happens.
Of course, something happened. When I got home, I forgot all aboutit, and I copied something
else to my clipboard. Today, J texted me about it: "where's thw code?" (spelling mistakes
included),and I told him I lost it. He started ranting about how he knew it was fabricated from
the beginning, and that I did it just to get attention. I told him that it was his own damn
fault. What do you guys think I should do about this problem? I don't really care what J thinks,
but I do care what he tells other people. How should I prove it? Give the url to the guy with
the escapist giveaway page, saying no more codes or available, or something else?
